hands up, have to admit great game. if only it had been babel or reira to knock the alst ball in rather than lampard up the other end i would be out on a 2 day bender right now.

both legs where fantastic, but my god, esp from a liverpool fan point of view. the dread, the joy, the worry, the texts between freinds "its over, they've got us now" followed by "never mind, game on"

A great game, indeed.Although I was cheering for Chelsea, somewhere I hoped Liverpool could pull it off.Great game.I think Chelsea will lose to Barcelona, though.

Was routing for chelsea as im an Everton fan, when Liverpool scored the first 2 goals thought not this again Chelsea came good though. Now hopefully they will get knocked out in the next round.

arsenal have 4th place tied up, they will be saving thier good players for fa cup & champions league knowing 3rd place isnt happening, as such im hoping the kop can get the 3 points... however... with the CL rivalry going on, i dont see arsne picking a weaker team against man utd... im hoping for 3 wins from 3 for arsenal.... or 4 from 4 if you's meet in FA cup final

In reality, you'll probably win it. Like you said, Arsenal will be saving players with the CL in mind and giving them a rest after this weekends FA Cup game. Besides, now your out of all the cup competitons, you can concentrate on the league.

yeah, but we're still 2 European cups ahead of you, and its unlikely that we both fuck up enough for chelsea to win the league, as such, if we dont win the league, utd do... which makes it 18 each AND we can still wouldnt be able to say we've won the "newly named" ahaha premier league.... believe it or not the league is much much more important to me personally this season and i'd say mayb stevie G and carra feel kinda similar... the double would have been sweet mind you lol

I think it's the most important to all Liverpool players and fans, the only person I don't think understands that is Beneitez going off past seasons. He does seem to have come round to the idea of playing full strength teams in the league this year though, only took him 5 years?

ah i dunno, he's always said he's never had the full squad he wanted, perhaps it was logic more than anything else that told him to go for the CL as theres less matches etc. now he's getting the squad he wants he's catching on. plus i'd say theres been more pressure been put on him for the league...

...on a side note, i think he gets a bigger bonus for winning the league rather than europe now.

anyways now that he wont be given players he doesnt want (i.e. keane) i'll be expecting a proper challange for all cups and the ability to rotate if NEED be (injuries etc) i mean for fuck sake, we have 1 striker really, babel/kuyt are now wingers, ngog isnt really getting enough football... its dodgy lmao
