Jonny Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 stop pretending your irish, we all know they don't approve of gays. Irish?.. I'm British, you moron. Quote
Aero Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 ahaha i'll sit back and watch this fight this time Quote
Jonny Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 are you in Ireland? you're still Irish. Northern Ireland is part of the united kingdom of great Britain. Therefore, I 'm British. If I was born in the south of Ireland and later moved to the north, I would still be Irish. I hope that clears things up. Quote
Fozy Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 im not fucking retarded jonny. im calling you irish because you're from ireland. you don't call scottish people british, welsh people british, english people british, so im not gonna call someone from ireland british. i hope that clears things up. Quote
Jonny Posted April 14, 2009 Author Posted April 14, 2009 The majority disassociate themselves of people in Northern Ireland people with the term "irish", and no, it's not ignorance. We're British and have the right to say so, you stupid wab. What kind of passport do you hold? It certainly doesn't say scottish passport on it. You can say but you want, but everybody who was born and raised in any part of Britain are British, at the end of the day. Maybe from different provinces of the kingdom but still British. Quote
Fozy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 i am a british citizen but no one here or you have actually called me anything but scottish. so don't try to play that stupid card. im scottish, paul is english, the sheep shaggers are welsh and you are irish. get over it. Quote
Jonny Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 If you MUST insist on calling me anything to do with Irish, atleast refere to me as Northern Irish. Only the potato pickers with 10 kids would associate themselves with the term "irish" here. Quote
Fozy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 what makes you guys so special. you're getting stuck with irish. Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 haha! Northern Ireland is a section of Ireland...Ireland being the official name of the whole Island. The South is called the Republic of Ireland or Eire, NOT Ireland. By your preference of being called 'British' or 'Northern Irish' would be like them calling themselves Republic of Irish. Britain is 4 countries in one State. The Republic of Ireland is part of the British Isles, so in that respect they can call themselves British. You are trying to differentiate yourself by not even differentiating yourself. You live on an island known as Ireland, and are therefore Irish. Refer to earlier arguments I had with Aero. Quote
Jonny Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 I knew it would be a matter of time until you posted here. I give up. Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 I know it's only going to be a matter of time before you are wrong somewhere else. Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 For future reference, see here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ireland Quote
Jonny Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 There's no need for patronization. I do know where I come from and the history of my own country. Like I have said before, the majority of inhabitants of Northern Ireland see themselves as British or Northern Irish. It's a fact, we have our whole own culture, different to the south. It's the same as south and north america. You wouldn't call Brazilians or Argentinians "Americans". Like I said, I'm done with this matter. Quote
Fozy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Patronization? You're from ireland, you're irish. What is there not to get? You sound irish, the word irish comes from the word ireland, that's where you live, right? yeah well done on being british, i am too. but you don't get referred to being british, i doubt you ever have. oh and north and south america? they're different continents. Quote
Jonny Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 The patronization was coming from that wiki link to Ireland. Stop trying to keep this going, it's done. Quote
Fozy Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 you can't make your argument then say it's done. you're not special. you're irish. Quote
Jonny Posted April 15, 2009 Author Posted April 15, 2009 You started the argument, you daft twat. Quote
Aero Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 The Republic of Ireland is part of the British Isles, so in that respect they can call themselves British. not entirely accurate i would imagine, not everyone down south can apply for a british passport etc meaning they aint british........ but it does seem that if someone from the south as an great great great great 50th half cousin twice removed who was 1/16 "british" they can indeed apply for a bristish passport or dual nationalityness Quote

We're all European, but it don't say European on our passports. There's no need for patronization. I do know where I come from and the history of my own country. Obviously not. Like I have said before, the majority of inhabitants of Northern Ireland see themselves as British or Northern Irish. It's a fact, we have our whole own culture, different to the south. That is almost the most stupid thing you've ever said. You are an idiot. You have a whole different culture to the Republic? We you have a whole different culture to England, Scotland and Wales too. You were born and live on an island knowns as Ireland. You are Irish. Ireland has 2 nations on it, The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The inhabitants of Ireland are Irish. Fact. It's the same as south and north america. You wouldn't call Brazilians or Argentinians "Americans". Like I said, I'm done with this matter. That is NOTHING like it, like Iain said, and could be even more stupid than the comment you said above. Quote
