I Just Wanna LEARN!

Regards.

I am new in the forum. In advance I ask for excuses for my bad(wrong) spelling, but the reason is that I do not speak English ... only I understand a bit.

I came here seeking for the way of hacking and to create my SD!2's own(proper) mod. After finding a few interesting videos in YouTube, come (this was approximately 2 years ago) and the forum was almost dead.

After it, i left my search, but it does a while I saw a video of the mod of SD2 Legend and I like enough, this way that i comeback, and I register, but I have not found a tutorial of how hack the game.

Would you teach me to do such things as(like):

- To edit attires and faces (textures)

- To change music and Titantron

- To change wrestlers' photos

- To change the PPV's images (in the ring)

- To add more wrestlers to the game (it will be able?)

- etc...

I will be very grateful ...and i would be proud to publish my advances here in the forum.

Well, thanks. Bye

Guide to SD2 Modding

Credit goes to Wiserommer and his GHQ site, and Proto for making the Tut.

1. Extract the pac files you wan to edit, use Cdmage

Ed2: Caw Parts

C2: Arena,superstar pics,misc

Dent: Items,belts

CAW: Signboards

2. How to export and edit textures by using Timviewer

Create a folder like Ed2_tims and put the pac file there (important).

Now scan the pac file(ed2 or c2 or dent,...)

Tutorial1.jpg

After the scan is finished save them,if there are over 1200 textures you can save only some or all. Do you want all then 1-??? (the last nummber)

Tutorial3.jpg

Note: It will also save the log called timextracts, dont delete there is information of the offsets where the textures are located.

Select the folder where you saved the tims and convert them to bmp, you dont need any tim plugin then

tutorial39pe.jpg

When you edit the textures, dont forget to change the mode to rpg!!

tutorial39pe.jpg

After the texture is finished change the mdoe back to Indexted

tutorial37re.jpg

Mode: Local Perceptual

Colours: 16 !!(not more otherwise the texture wont be appear)

Forced: Black white

Options: Everything none

tutorial56hn.jpg

...If you are editing Tights or Pants the other parts must have the same colours

What to do?... you save the colour table

example: undertaker_tights.act

user posted image

Open the other parts (front,back,side,right-leg(we edited),left leg)

tutorial31ta.jpg

Now load the colour table (undertaker_tight.act) for the parts front, back, side, left leg

tutorial57lw.jpg

Attention: All parts must have the same colour table wink.gif

After you finished this,save..

if it shows something with bits just click on 4bit and OK

Hey, if you followed the tutorial you are finished with modding biggrin.gif

2. Import

You need to convert the bmp back to tim, select the folder where all the bmp/tims are(also your edited bmp)

tutorial58od.jpg

When the converting is finished click on File>Insert Tim and select the timextract.log(in the same main folder where the tims are)

It will import all textures to pac and you're done!

I hope you're very good with photoshop and are ready to join me in being a smackdown 2 modder and hacker~

Hi to all!

I'm also new to this forum, and I'm still playing WWFSD2 until now (I'm a PSOne gamer by heart). I'm from the Philippines, and also wanted to learn to mod WWFSD2, and hopefully (someday), would come up with a good patch to share to all of you. =)

I've also seen some hacks and mods around the internet, and makes me think of creating my own mod as well (so far, I've only played ACE's patch, and I was totally entertained! ^_^ )

Anyways, a few questions first:

1) Is it possible to retain the original WWFSD2 roster, then "extend" the lineup? I wanted to add WWE wresters that were previously released (e.g. Muhammad Hassan, The Boogeyman), also create some old stables with some wrestlers (e.g. Scorpio and The Blue Meanie, to create THE J.O.B. SQUAD)...

2) Is it possible to create a stable more than 4 members? I want to create some, line THE SPIRIT SQUAD, NATION OF DOMINATION, MINISTRY OF DARKNESS (to name a few)

3) Are there any other more WWFSD2 hacking complete tutorial webpages?

More power to everyone who still plays WWFSD2, and to you SD2 LeGeNd (saw the Ruthless aggression mod in YouTube, you rock!)

Neil Alex

Thanks Neil, and to answer your questions:

Q1) Is it possible to retain the original WWFSD2 roster, then "extend" the lineup? I wanted to add WWE wresters that were previously released (e.g. Muhammad Hassan, The Boogeyman), also create some old stables with some wrestlers (e.g. Scorpio and The Blue Meanie, to create THE J.O.B. SQUAD)...

A1)The only way you could extend the line up is using caws and thats if you only wish to retain the original roster. Or you may have the option of replacing the unknowns and using the replacement code when you want to use them in match. There is a way that you can create a big stable(more than 4 members), but you must use multiple slots.

A2)Are there any other more WWFSD2 hacking complete tutorial webpages?

Yes you can look up thewreckroom

Sweet! :D Thanks a lot dude!

Lots of info on the Hacks & Modding Section.

Also, Mimdalai's page is also helpful.

Am currently doing more research, since I've only played again recently. (BTW, I was busy with music/band stuff for almost a half decade, and am currently busy with my studies, am about to graduate this coming December, hopefully!).

Now I'm kinda inspired to try modding, and having lots of ideas in my head, heheh! (Maybe a patch mixed with RAW/Smackdown/ECW stars, and I want to do a HUSTLE wrestling promotion patch as well!)

For now, I'll be busy first with CAWs (I'll also try to find my backup memcard files with my past personally-created CAWs), and move-hacking. I'll post some stuff as soon as possible.

Again, thanks a lot, more power!

Neil Alex

I HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM (a doubt...)

Where in that files are the parts of the superstars??? I'm search in every file and i'm haven't found any part of a superstar...

WHERE ARE THAT PARTS????

Posted

lol The superstar textures are not there thats where the link in my post comes in. The superstars are in model form and you have to find a way to edit them somehow which we have yet to discover. But the people at the site(http://forum.xentax.com/) have extracted models from wrestling games previously. Maybe they can help.
