Fighting Style Modifier Values

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I was attempting to hack the fighting style modifiers for a few of the wrestlers, trying to find the values & I found some weird things in there. It makes thier stance as if they are running, getting up, rolling around, or even frozen. There are several values that cause the wrestler that appear to be standing thru the ring, with the arms extended, but bent slightly. They can counter, be beaten up, but can not move on their own.

To find the code for the wrestler you want affected, go to Tokidoim's Wrestler Mods post, follow the instructions, find the address of the wrestler, add the offset in, then convert it to the device you use. I bumped the post so it's easier to find.

000000??

I've tried to describe these values as best I could, so If you don't understand my description, just punch in the values & try it yourself:

00-on ground get up

01-stumble get up

02-stumble get up faster

03- slight dizzy

04-Thru mat, arms extended, slightly bent (others like these will be skipped)

15-roll on back get up

16-fall forward get up

17-kneeling get up (you can actually move with this one)

18-quick kneel get up

19-rolling get up

1A-rolling right

1B-slow roll back

1C-roll left get up

1D-roll forward get up

1E-quick roll back get up

1F-slow rolling left get up

24-kneel get up

25- fall back

26-fall forward

27-side quick get up

28-step & clothesline (looks like the get up counter from SYM)

29-Quick fall on belly

2F- slow get up

30-slow get up using arm

32-running

33-run & leapfrog

34-run & step on back (kind of like starting the Hardy Boyz poetry in motion move)

35-run & grapple

36-running

37-run & jump

39- evasive running roll

3C-running pose (stationary)

3D-run from ropes

3E-run into ropes

3F-grab ropes with arms (counter)

That's all I have managed to find so far. I plan on going further than this to try to find the other values for the actual stances. I know there is at least one unselectable stance & that is Earl Hebner's. Feel free to add to the list. Or if you can better describe what I found, do that.

I managed to find a few more extras. The values also go beyond FF.

I found the referee taunts, animations, & even the animations where you appear to be in pain. I even found a few extra animations I have never seen before. When I'm able to get my list together, I'll post more values & codes for them. Some of these animations could be used as taunts. The ones where you grab your gut in pain, I'm thinking could fool another player into thinking you are hurt. You know, Playing possum.

I'll keep you posted.

Ok here's what I've done so far. I have made the codes for Fighting style modifier & taunt modifier for all of the CAWs. I'm still checking the values. Once I get all of the values I can find, I will post them. Just give me some more time & I'll plan on putting them on sometime the 1st week of December. I'm thinking they will work best as taunts instead of fighting style though. If I had one of those DVD Rom thngs like most of the other hackers had I could do this faster. But until then I'll have to settle for constantly resetting the games & popping the disk in & out.

these, i believe, are animation values (i think they are- interestingly, the rope anis dont seem to have changed much from SD2)

now, all it needs is someone clever enough to put two and two together to make barbed wire ropes.

Bossman great work on discovering the new animations & fighting stances. But have you managed to find the value for the DX tag entrance yet? I would really like that one.
