Twist of Fate Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 (edited) Ok...wtf is the secret to getting the computer to submit in this shit. using the sharpshooter is obviously not going to fucking happen with the button mashing shit...is there another way to win? I don't really care about the medal for it, i just want to open up the next match. can you just win with a regular submission like any other match without a button mashing situation? **EDIT** Nevermind. I added the million dollar dream to brets movelist and won with it...of course if anyone can offer any hints on the button mashing shit id still appreciate it. Edited April 1, 2009 by Twist of Fate
Smacktalks Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I still haven't managed to figure out the button mashing, it just doesn't seem to work when I keep pressing all four buttons.
Twist of Fate Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 Yeah, thats the problem i have....the most i can do is keep it close to the center....and thats lucky...i have a sore on my right thumb from my attempts at that one...
stunner15 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 hey what i figured out is if u turn the controller to the side and use the your first two fingers on the buttons it really works for me. Try that out.
Twist of Fate Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 thats almost too much effort. worth a try I guess. I think the only thing left to unlock is videos anyways..
Smacktalks Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 lol, it'll never be as bad Mario Party on the N64, using your palm to move the stick faster in games used to kill. Nintendo even realised Mario style gloves to stop people injuring themselves lol.
Twist of Fate Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 I remember way back when...when Metal Gear Solid came out on playstation, I had a controll that had a turbo feature on it.....made it impossible to lose the torture scene with Ocelot...need that again lol.
Smacktalks Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 lol, aint seen the turbo features for a while now.
degenerate69699 Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 yeah the button mashing thing on austin vs.bret drives me nuts and so does the one on hogan vs.warrior I have tried them both so many times and my forearm is extremely sore from trying to mash the buttons yet it doesn't seem to do anything.
Niles Jansen The Third Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I remember way back when...when Metal Gear Solid came out on playstation, I had a controll that had a turbo feature on it.....made it impossible to lose the torture scene with Ocelot...need that again lol. But.. Ocelot said he would know?? EDIT I played the demo for this, and whenever I go for a submission I see the four face buttons on my hud and as soon as I try to mash a button it goes away and my submission hold breaks right away. Is this at all relevant or am I coming off as retarded?
Twist of Fate Posted April 11, 2009 Author Posted April 11, 2009 That's strange. I've never had that problem....Generally the CPU just beats the ass off of me...the best I've been able to do is keep the bar on the display meter at halfway or close to it but never an immediate release.
seanironmaiden Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 have you tried turning it off and on again? Well are you sure it's plugged in?
Twist of Fate Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 Perhaps. Does that automatically screw up my gaming ability? Not my fault I'm not used to having more than 2 buttons to push on a controller.
Aero Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 this would be a lot funnier if you saw a few episodes of the i.t crowd lmao... nice retort all the same
Twist of Fate Posted April 13, 2009 Author Posted April 13, 2009 har. I tried. Perhaps later I'll youtube it and/or wikipedia it and maybe will be able to come up with something else, or at least understand the reference better. Perhaps, or I'll just take with that i was told "nice retort" and let it go.
