This is just for discussion of Gustave Dore. He was a French engraver from the 1800s who is most known for engraving the Idylls of the King, based of of Alfred, Lord Tennyson's poems. My personal favorite is his engraving of Camelot, as can be seen in my signature. Here's a collection of some of his engravings.

yeah he's part of where my style came from

linear, I tried recreating woodblocks like he done in zbrush and failed

This is Dore's engraving of Satan's fall from Heaven into Hell after rebelling against God from his series of Paradise Lost engravings.

yeah we get it you like metal

And my musical tastes have to do with this how? Just because I like metal and discovered Dore through a cover art doesn't mean he has had any influence on me liking a type of music.
