ALL STAR Posted February 8, 2009 Posted February 8, 2009 The finisher system looks alot better than in svr the way it set up to me looks better than pressing a button and watching it happen. Its kind of like a quicktime events but looks simple enough to do. You can see the chain system working aswell compared to svr this looks like a big improvement might not even bother with the svr series if this turns out as good as its looking. D.A.R.S. Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Only thing I think is retarded, is the very first trailer made such a big deal of Hulk slamming Andre, but now in the actual game play he's able to do hanging vertical suplexes, and backdrops like it's nothing. Would have been a LOT cooler if you were only able to pick up Andre with certain people and only a certain time during the match edit : another gripe I have..not with this game, but with the WWE games in general...why do the arenas look like they hold 100 people? If I am playing as Hulk or Andre at the Wrestlemania 3 venue, I want it to look like there's 93,000+ people there...Not the boy scout group from the next city. Never understood why they do that Edited February 9, 2009 by D.A.R.S.
jitz Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Because Yukes have never been the best developers around, infact they aren't very good at all. The arenas, the character models and the crowd have always lacked a little compared to similar games. They can't get the game to run at a decent frames per second with a large, good looking crowd.
xIFearlessIxx Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Looks pritty sweet like: When he did that elbow drop like 5 times and it hit him that was awsome.. Hulks finisher was pritty cool to... But I think ill stick with SvR untill i get bored... Or for a change and wrestling... I think the main reason i wont like it that much is cause i never seen the legends the way they were back then.. I started watching wrestling 2004-2005 so... yea.
ALL STAR Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 That shouldnt put you off youll be able to see some promos to old matches and get a sense of how good things were back then etc plus the roster on this game will be hands down better than SVR.
