The Wrestler.

So I've just finished watching The Wrestler and I have to say it's one of the best movies I've watched in a long time. The gripping thing about this movie is that it truly happens to has-been wrestlers. Many of them have fell victim to their own decline, while trying desperitly to keep hold of their ever-weakening spotlight. One wrestler in particular came to mind when I watched this movie. Tony Atlas.

The Wrestler is a definite must see.

it is a good movie and all, but if you weren't a wrestling fan, this aint for you.

i guess those people who run the academy awards are all wrestling fans then.

that's different though, they have to see through that, many of my friends aren't too fond of it because of the wrestling story and the likes. just saying.

Rocky was a fictional story, but The Wrestler is a dramatisation of real life. The movie was made almost as if it was a documovie. For me, that's what really made it work.

i liked the movie, but it's hardly the best thing ever, really think alot of people have glamorised it alot more than i feel it deserves. mickey did a damn good job tho, and there were boobs, so it's definately more than a decent movie.
