I'm getting the Benq E2400HD, usually I rate Benq below a pile of shit, but this monitor is pure class. 24" true 16x9 widescreen, 1080p, 2ms response time with a HDMI port for easy hooking up of the consoles. I've seen it in action playing Far Cry 2 in the store, it was beautiful in action, not only selling me on the LCD but selling me Far Cry 2 in the process. I have a mate getting me one for $350, which is about 160 pounds.

I was looking at the cheaper 22" version as I'm really not flushed with cash at the moment, but because of the aspect ratio the height was only taller than my current monitor by not even a centimetre. My current monitor is a CRT from about 2002, and it was pretty shitty for back then too. I think it's a 17", but it's got me though to now.

my bro worked for dell and is a qualified dell engineer, he still has contacts and if anything breaks in or out of warranty, i can get it replaced for free... with something better if possible..... so i'm looking into breaking the hdd as its the only downfall lmao
