So, whaddya think about it?

I personally hated most of it. The only redeeming bits were the parkour video, Joe Satriani, the magician guy with the laser, Brandon Hardesty, Bo Burnham getting his audio cut off, and any part of it involving Tay Zonday (that man is a bucket of BBQ win with a side of mashed victory).

Everything else was awful. All the bands and "artists" (I wouldn't exactly call Katy Perry, Soulja Boy, and Akon entertaining (or talented)) sucked, the beatboxer was garbage, Fred was awful (as usual), the Pinto band sounded like Simple Plan got kicked in the balls, the dancers were beyond terrible, the skits were not funny in the slightest, and not even the Happy Tree Friends bit was good (nothing happened AT ALL). Why Youtube chose such shit acts is beyond me. 95% of the acts were either not good, not funny, or not talented (or worse, a combination of the 3).

Overall, I give it a 2/5. Most of the show was pointless, unfunny, or just plain boring (the Obama and Hillary impersonators stand out as an entirely pointless scene), there were only 2 or 3 good, talented people on it (Satriani, Tay Zonday, Brandon Hardesty), and Youtube hyped it way too much only to give us a very poor outcome.

It's YouTube, Subrick. Nothing good comes from there except for the occasional YouTube Poop. On top of the seemingly unlimited number of stupid people who upload their asinine videos that YouTube harbors, you also get guys that are washed up like Gary Busey and Seth MacFarlane uploading stuff as well, which is laughable due to the sheer pity of their hard times.

you 2 are far too bias to give a decent overview of such things. for example -

subrick, ur favorite type of music to alot of people is seen as noise, u slag of katy perry when (whilst im not a fan) she's not too shabby live from what i seen the other day on normal tv.

phil, mentioning seth macfarlane... family guy, we all know that despite a general consensus on this site that its a great show, you hate it and in effect hate seth so again, not entirely fair commentary from you either.

i have a bit of a life so i decided against watching it knowing it wouldnt be great, but i'd imagine that 2/5 isnt a fair review

How is Katy Perry not talented compared to anyone in todays music mainstream? She's got the exact same voice as about 80 other singers I've heard just with 3x's the badassness in songs.

Besides that, all those people you listed are better musicians then you.

Soulja Boy should've got more praise,I mean after all he did show the world how to 'crank that' and 'superman hoes.'

Hey coolest, why did you steal the bottom part of a picture of me for your coolest sig?

Soulja Boy?Oh please, 'Crank That' wasn't even that good.

because I envy you of your amazing prowess.

It wasn't good at all. It's the latest fad that teens are getting into just because it's popular. Soulja Boy is helping to kill hip hop. The only good hip hop today IMO is Insane Clown Posse.

I was kidding about the whole Soulja Boy thing btw.

I can't stand his jungle noise.

Shut your mouth right now, your in a fucking screamo band. Thats like the worst fad going around right now, teens hear bands like Slipknot and suddenly get the idea that they can "sing" too. The damage Soulja Boy has done to the Hip Hop industry is nothing compared that screamo or metalcore shit you call music has done to the music industry as a whole, YOU CAN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY'RE FUCKING SAYING.

my friend Jen loves that screamo crap,it drives me nuts.

Guys, guys! Can't we all just agree that everyone has differing opinions on music and that Subrick is a tool?

Posted

ok, im gonna say it -

subrick, is that ur bro in ur sig!?!?!

Posted

lmao, I bet everyone was thinking that.

And yeah Bizang, you're right. That was one of Subrick's most stupid posts ever imo.

Fucking FAIL.

lmao.

subrick saying bands are shit.. lmao

Soulja Boy didn't ruin Hip Hop. So little retarded kids in your 13 year age group started listening to it? It doesn't mean it's bad music. It's just over played.

Screamo is only gay depending on who it is performing. I never had a problem with Slipknot but when i hear retarded little tweens talking about their problems and bringing up subjects that have already been beaten to death by everyone that's ever spoken (George Bush, exe) then I seem to lean towards thinking its gay.

And yes, that was a direct reference to your music subrick.
