Is it just me or does SvR07 Graphically look better

Sorry for the long title. But there are some elements of '07 that are graphically superior, as far as models are concerned. WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007's Model of Randy Orton looks better than his WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2008 Model, for example. 2009 indeed has the best model of his. But glaringly so, if one were to take a second look at '07's models and compare them to it's successor, you'd find some pixelation omissions as far as quality is concerned.

No one agrees? Let's discuss this matter.

I know that. But still. There's something about WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007 that intrigues me so. From the roster to the most of the models. I somewhat prefer the look they were going for in THAT game. I'm thinking that they took a step back on WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2008, graphically, because it looked blotchy and drab in comparison to its predecessor's overall cosmetic outlook. The only thing I MIGHT complain about, as far as graphics in WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007 are concerned, is the fact that some DO indeed have a rather rubbery texture to them and the lighting wasn't as bright. It was darker than it's successors. HOWEVER, the colors are more vivid in WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007 than they are in WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2008. I think they redeemed those qualities in WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2009. They took the best of the past two installments and made the best that they could with it. The lighting, texture, graphical quality, and vividness of color are all present on WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007.

Nah dude. My cousin had '07 for the 360. I compared the graphics extensively and SvR 2009 has increased frame speed and everything. I do agree that the lighting was better for '07 but other than that, I see nothing wrong. We all got a different perspective on this. BTW man, I know ur new and everything. I'm not new. And, I also mentioned WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2008 in comparison to WWE Smackdown vs. RAW 2007 (The latter of which I argued to be better than the aforementioned).

09 looks nicer to me (with one tiny difference.) You can even see, on 07, the UV seams on the foreground character! 09 also looks to have slightly sharper textures (gogogo compression)

Theres really not that much in them though. Your problem is probably with over all lighting set ups which is just a style thing.

def 09. but i do recall one of the previous 3 games (i think it actually WAS 07) had a really good entrance animation for randy orton. i think they really got the 07 ortan entrance down to a science, but now that he doesn't do the same things in his entrance its kinda hard to compare.

if all you can complain about is a little graphix problem maybe you should just stop playing the 2009 and stay with 2007
