KMinus
This is from KMan2100 on "The SledgeHammer" board. Step by Step on How to Rip SD5 Trons Inside Yes you heard me right, you can rip the trons off the SD5 disk. Here is what you are going to need. 1. AFSExplorer (http://dte-ng.issextreme.com/files/AFSExplorer_2_0.zip) 2. Quicktime 3. A .mov to .mpg converter (If you want them in mpeg)(I use TMPGenc with .mov plugin) Ok, here is how to do it. 1. Put SD5 disk in DVD rom drive 2. Open AFSExplorer and go to file, import AFS file. Choose video folder on your sd5 disk. In this example I will do NMV000.afs and click open. Right click on nmv000.sfd and select export. Choose where you want the file to go and hit save. You should get a message saying file exported. 3. Go to the exported file and open it in internet explorer. The Rock's tron should now play. Right click and save it as a quicktime movie. 4. Now open the file you just created with quicktime. Now in quicktime go to file and save as. Save it and you should now have a quicktime video of the tron. 5. Now with TMPGenc here is how you convert it into a mpeg. Open it in the program. Now go to settings and click on the advanced tab. Click on clip frame. Click on Arrange settings tab and make sure it is on Full Screen in the arrange method box. Click ok back to the main screen. The you can just start the conversion. It should stretch the video out to make it look right. Now you should have an mpeg of a sd5 tron. Just repeat the process with the trons you want. It is kind of a long process but it is very nice if you want SD5 trons and you can't cap.
