SvR 2009 Roster Shenanigans?

Yesterday, the IGN SmackDown vs. Raw boards lit up when some investigative, eagle-eyed fans were able to visit the official WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 Website and discover a document listing a ton of wrestlers. Many interpreted it as the official roster, which THQ hasn't detailed and IGN is announcing day by day. When the news broke, fans began debating whether the list was the real deal or if it was some kind of placeholder text.

Today, THQ is speaking out.

"The WWE SmackDown vs. Raw brand has a huge fan base," a statement from the company reads. "While we appreciate the enthusiasm surrounding the upcoming launch of the next installment in the franchise, unfortunately the information that has been circulating the internet is based on speculation and is not the confirmed roster. We look forward to continuing to reveal the official WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2009 roster through our annual campaign on IGN and hope our fans will continue logging on to get the most accurate information."

Looks like we'll have to keep on watching and waiting.

Well, apparently, I happened to stumble upon www.smackdownvsraw.com/roster.swf a few days ago but I didn't believe the posting as legit. BTW, don't click on the site, you'll just get a 404 message .

Anyways, this is what found for the roster on the page. Note that this is was only speculation and it is not accurate. I just recorded what was on the page. This may give some of us a clear detail on who we might see in the weeks to come. Pshh, we all know this shit is confirmed whether they wanna piss about it right now or not. This is not the full roster though as it only reveals part of it.

I think they may leave him in, seeing as they already have his model and he hasn't left WWE yet. He's been in the OVW development section for about a year or so.

Correct me if I'm wrong. The last time I saw Boogeyman in a sanctioned match was against Big Daddy V like what? Last year right? Then, we had seen him come on for a Halloween segment and an "honorary" member of D-X and that's it. After that, we haven't heard much about him. So, it would pointless as fuck to include him in SvR 2009 which THQ will fail to notice. I can't say it's a waste 'cause I'll be using him. Let's hope Snitsky doesn't make it.
