Smacktalks Posted September 16, 2008 Posted September 16, 2008 Based on past games only, not what we've seen of SvR 2009 so far. Would you renew THQ's contract to continue making WWE games until 2014? Quote
Sunny Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 But there is this possibility u have to look for though. If WWE signs with a new company, wouldn't they start the game fresh with limited features like what Midway did with TNA. Quote
The Smackethdown Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 yes i would actually,THQ has some of the best (and worst) WWE games,if a new company were to produce the next game, then I have a feeling it won't be quite as good because it has to live up to SvR or HCTP's expectations. But I think THQ needs to completely update the franchise, they need to listen to the fans, and not only focus on one area a year, they need to find out what makes the games good and what makes them bad. They also need to implement some of the DoR series concepts, because imo that was my favorite wrestling game experience. I'm pretty sure I can rant some more but I don't feel like it, and I'm about to eat dinner... Quote
phil Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 I voted no because those bathturds stopped making the DoR franchise. Quote

Joe =/ Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Yes I would, because I'd know that no matter how shit the games are, wwe fans will still buy the product. Quote

Aero Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 wouldnt mind seeing a BIG change, be it from thq or someone new... so i didnt vote :S Quote
ALL STAR Posted September 19, 2008 Posted September 19, 2008 I wouldnt mind if EA got the license i think they would actually try to do something new. If THQ keep it we wont see any major improvements. Smackdown was a good series but now its just very dull. The only way i think THQ should keep the license is if they start from the ground up new engine everything cause cmon its the same engine since the first game and its has moves from hctp still in it.
