Joe =/ Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Probably not what you wanna hear now, but seriously there's no need to have your XBOX standing up, just use it horizontally it's much safer. If you ordered it online, you could grab a knife and add scratches all over the disc and tell customer support it arrived loose in the box and you were shocked to find it in the condition you did ... Worth a shot. GAME gave me a replacement once for that very reason (my game really did arrive loose in the box and scratched to shit)

Smacktalks Posted September 15, 2008 Author Posted September 15, 2008 I prefer it standing up, although I'm regretting it now. Gonna try taking it to Gamestation to have the scratches removed. If that doesn't work i'll probably end up buying another copy.

I'm gonna try contacting customer support and say i bought it for my brothers birthday, however he tried it today and it doesnt work, plus theres no scatches on it now. Hopefully i'll get a replacement or my money back.

Smacktalks Posted September 28, 2008 Author Posted September 28, 2008 I'm not gonna mention I had it repaired, my mates had his girlfriend who works there do it for free. So I'll hopefully get away with it. Anyway I now have bigger problems, my video lead stopped working during a penalty shoot out on FIFA last night (which I lost seeing as I had no picture ). Just tested it on another TV using the composite part of the cable and I dont even get a picture with that. Looks like i'll be buying a new lead
