Another Backstage Area Revealed! (Screenshots)

Following on from the video released by IGN of the locker room backstage brawl, screenshots are now available showing John Cena vs Batista in a second backstage area named the gorilla position (The area directly behind the entrance to the stage).

The screenshots of the new backstage area also confirms that we'll be able to use tables and ladders backstage!

Weapons Available: Barbwire 2x4, Ladder, Table, Bin, Fire Extinguisher

Interactive Elements: Fire Escape, Equipment Containers, Oil Drums, Trash Dumpsters, Trash Bins, Wooden Table and a TV Monitor.

Cool. I'm starting to look forward to SvR 2009 after last year's version was a big disappointment. And Cena doing a Russian legsweep must a glitch of some damn sort.

Normal people can do weapon grapples now i think. Jericho did in the video. Its more realistic because anybody can do them in real life. Not just "hardcore" people.

Yeah, last year was annoying not being able to do them as anyone. At least this year there seems to be a lot more weapon moves to use.

THQ said that every superstar will have up to "15" fighting styles but at some extent. Like, in some instances Cena can jump instantly on the turnbuckle or this hardcore fighting style represented. So, let's say this: Although, Batista is not a high-flyer he will have it to a bear minimum as represented by his Diving Shoulder Block.

Still a big meh for me.I mean, maybe a match type here and there, but all the attires remain the same, gameplay remains the same, so I'll be buying TNA Impact and if it's good, I might forget about SvR.

Right on brotha! But, there are positives and negatives about both games. SvR 2009 has more features but shitty gameplay. TNA lacks these features but, makes up to it WITH gameplay. .......Yeah, I'm goin with TNA and I'll just rent SvR 2009 from GameFly.

Well, Impact promises to be an awesome game, but seeing as it's their first they can't really have all the features and match types SvR has.I'm just hoping the SvR season mode will be better than last year, 'cause that was the most shittiest season mode I've played.(Except for the original SvR)

that backstage area looks cool, i wish u could go from a different backstage area to another like in previous smackdown games

Backstage videoand the new video on IGN.com show HBK is the exact same model as last year. really fucking dissappointing as hbk changes his attire more than most superstars and he rarely gets good attires in games. I didnt really care much for the dx on either in last year's version.
