Smacktalks Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Aint sure on the lyrcis but the band names pretty cool. Quote
phil Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 its near fact that when some1 anti organised religion argues with a christian and actually knows what the bible says, the christian generally gets scared and runs away LOL. So true. I've seen that happen so many times that I wish I had a camcorder for many of those "face-offs". However, there are some Christians that keep their mouths shut and have respect for others OR learn about science and treat it with the same respect as their own faith (myself being one of these smart Christians). And Subrick, in addition to Dubya, will you also speak out on Cheney, Rove and Rice? Quote
Subrick Posted July 26, 2008 Author Posted July 26, 2008 Thank you. I also write, in a limited capacity, songs about sex and gore. Most of my earlier material is about sex, gore, and sex with gore. I just wrote a song 2 days on that subject called "Supergore". I got the inspiration for it after listening to this song: The song "Supergore" is about a man who kills people, eats them, and has sex with the corpses. He takes the heart and eats it while comparing to an apple, and gets hot from the mangled body around him. "Supergore" is a working title, though. Any new name suggestions? Quote
The Don Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Yes. I've a couple songs about George W. Bush and the mistake that he is, I am writing a song about the current election, and I have one about the current state of America and what will happen to it (in my mind) in 10 years. So you're trying to be like Linkin Park and damn near every band trying to sound relevant? Girls, Grils Girls (by Motley Crue or Jay-Z, take your pick.) > Any song with a political agenda in the past 10 years. I just don't get the fascination with music and saying how fucked up of a country we live in. What happened to music about sex, drugs and violence? Not if you'll excuse me I have some Crue to listen to. Quote
Aero Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 lmao in 2 posts subrick, ur band has lost a lot of credibility. i was hoping for a song about how super al gore is. Quote
Subrick Posted July 26, 2008 Author Posted July 26, 2008 Hey, we're probably not gonna use them anyway. Quote

RingMaster2001 Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 erm.. thats not true paul, their guitarist is doing a degree in music including music law, copyright law etc and as such came up with a few cool ways of copyrighting for free etc, but he was able to give case examples where bands thought they would just record covers, most giving credit, still getting taken to court etc. you still need permission and agree royalty fees etc. You can cover any song and record it, as long as you say it is a cover and as long you are not selling the record. Aero Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 well why record something if ur not gonna sell it? Quote
