The Don Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 NoDQ.com > UFC > Breaking news: Quinton Jackson arrested Posted by Bobby Spade on 07/15/2008 at 06:10 PM Quinton Jackson was pulled over this afternoon and taken to police headquarters after a car accident near Newport Beach, CA. He's been charged with felony hit and run, reckless driving and felony evading arrest. According to the Costa Mesa police, an officer observed him driving with a flat tire and talking on his cell phone and attempted to pull him over. He ignored the officer and continued driving with the officer in pursuit. Police had received a report of a vehicle with his photo on it involved in a collision on the 55 Freeway in Costa Mesa, that struck other vehicles and fled the scene, according to Lt. Paul Dondero. The chase continued with the vehicle weaving in and out of traffic, including at one point driving on the wrong side of the road and even on a sidewalk, scaring pedestrians. The officer saw the vehicle in a second collision while driving toward Newport Beach. Nobody was believed to have been injured in the collisions. The car continued to Newport Beach where the tire blew out and came off the rim and he was taken into the Orange County jail, where he is being held on $25,000 bail. Way to suck Rampage, first you lose your title and now you're in the slammer. Needless to say I have a feeling we won't be seeing a Rampage fight for the rest of the year... Quote

The Don Posted July 20, 2008 Author Posted July 20, 2008 NoDQ.com > UFC > Quinton Jackson picked up by police again? Posted by Bobby Spade on 07/17/2008 at 11:32 AM From TMZ.com: Round 2 -- Cops Nab "Rampage" Again Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has been picked up by police again. Sources say around 4:30 PM yesterday, friends who were hanging out with Rampage, waved down an Irvine police car after they were worried about his behavior. This, of course, following the insane chase the day before in which the UFC fighter hit several cars in his monster truck and was arrested at gunpoint. We're told Irvine cops saw Rampage, deemed him a danger to himself and others, and took him to a hospital for observation. Rampage was very coopertive with police. Cops won't officially confirm if it's a psychiatric hold. Like me and Ladyhawk were saying the other day, something just ain't right. Anyone see his most recent interview? The lights are on but nobody's home. Quote
