Smacktalks Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 If you havent yet seen the pre-finale episode of Doctor Who Season 4, exit the topic. Seeing as the episode just ended with the Doctor regenerating, is David Tennent actually leaving? I've had a quick look around the web but cant see anything to say he actually is, just rumours from 2006/2007. One site said that Robert Carlye (Guy from the Full Monty, etc.) would be the 11th Doctor. Which I think would be really shite, I cant really see anyone bettering Tennent. That said, I did think the same thing when Christopher Eccelston left. If Tennent does leave, then the only person I would really think would be a good replacement would be Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek), although I hope Tennent stays. ...Also heard Rose could be in line to be the 11th Doctor, although seeing how she was there when he was regenerating I cant see that happening. Aero Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 rose? lmao i'd boycott. ok, the story is tennent is doing hamlett next year, as such there will be no full season, he is however, doing 4 (i think 4) specials through the year, just so that we dont forget about the doc, as for season 5 tho... he's SUPPOSED to be in it, but dont think he has signed up for it yet. Aero Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 ok, just remembered, tennent DID film for the christmas special, so he must regenerate as tennent Quote
Smacktalks Posted July 2, 2008 Author Posted July 2, 2008 Cool, I read about him filming the 4 specials but I couldn't find anywhere that confirmed it. Saturday's episode should be good, providing Catherine Tate dies. It's gonna be a long wait for Season 5 though Quote
