The Don Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 I found it. I just ordered Aerosmith's Box of Fire.Sure, I've herd all the songs, but that's not the important thing. Back in the day I remember always asking at Best Buy and any other place that sells music if they have it and they never did. Can't wait to put the CDs on my computer and then put it on my shelf never to be touched again. Quote
Aero Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 i've HAD it for 10 years lmao.... i have 2 actually, a sealed 1, and another which i got cheap on ebay which looks like the CDs were never played... and they still havnt lol, i have all the original CDs and alot of them on vinyl now too. its pretty cool but kinda a waste of money for me lol. Aero Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 snap! i've also got the 24 carat toys in the attic cd + the 24 carat toys in the attic in special (yet pointless) long box. both in their plastic seals... really want to open them and see if they are indeed proper gold struggling to find an opened one anywere tho to satisfy my curiousity Quote
Spectre Posted July 22, 2008 Posted July 22, 2008 All i know is my dad has the Iron maiden killers record and i want it bad. Most of the record in the collection are opened but the plastic is still on it. Quote
Aero Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 aww sweet. nearly all my vinyl is opened but im guessing back then ppl bought it to listen to lol. keep meaning to get a record player, there must be a reason why everyone says vinyl sounds soooo much better than cd. Quote
Spectre Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Its that classic feeling you get when listening to vinyl, cant be matched with Cds. i mean after reading this topic i went into the cabinet and played the Beatle's Single "I saw her Again last night", its on a 45, and it sounds soo good. Quote
Nemo Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 late reply, but the amount of suck displayed by don needs to be addressed. it took you 10 fucking years to find the unhardest to find box set ever? seriously, youve had internet access for at least 5 of those years, yet you apparently never took the whopping 5 seconds to load up google and do a search for it. theres probably a word for how much you suck, but i dont feel like browsing a thesaurus for it. you're the human equivalent of subrick. The Don Posted July 27, 2008 Author Posted July 27, 2008 Yes, but I also never had the money to afford it. Also every time I'd look on Amazon and such they wouldn't have any... Quote
Nemo Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 you've never had $70 on you in the past 10 years? Quote
Heart Breaker Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Sal by KO! I have most of the albums in the boxset. I considered myself a huge Aerosmith fan at one point. (Buying 19 of the 29 CD's released by them at the time.) I still enjoy Aerosmith quite a bit, but I'll live without a boxset of CD's that I already own. Quote
