Smacktalks Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 Maybe if it was Turkey they'd of came back.. Anyway I'm happy with a Germany / Spain final, although I think it will be a bit of a dull game compared to the two semi-finals. Spain will probably look to attack but Germany will most likely defend and just try and nick a goal imo. Anyway, the most dissapointing thing is theres only 1 Euro game left, not to mention we have to go 3 DAYS WITHOUT FOOTBALL! 2 days was bad enough on Mon/Tues Betting-wise... Since the tournament started: Boxing: GBP27.93 Horse Racing: -GBP3.06 Soccer: GBP796.19 Tennis: -GBP8.77 Total P&L: GBP812.29 Quote
Aero Posted June 26, 2008 Posted June 26, 2008 i know, lack of football is super gay when the next prem starts, ur gonna spend a week helpin me bet i hope u realise, cos i kinda know how yo udo it, but want a little help lol Quote
Smacktalks Posted June 26, 2008 Author Posted June 26, 2008 lol, i'll probably lose it come the Prem. Tournament betting is much easier because teams cant afford to lose and keep attacking till the very end. It's the late tournament goals that win the most Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Congrats Paul. And I'm also very happy with a Spain/Germany final. Just hope they will both play at their best. Quote
Joe =/ Posted June 27, 2008 Posted June 27, 2008 Yeah Paul, fuckin jew, help us win money. HOGGER. Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 (edited) What a SHITTY opening. Enrique Iglesias sucks. And Michael Ballack, wasn't he supposed to be injured? Anyhow, I'm happy he's there. GO GERMANY!! EDIT- Anyone saw the cornerkick taken by Xavi in the 29th minute? All of the sudden someone threw ?a piece of paper? at his head, I lmao'd Edited June 29, 2008 by LilPoppn Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Germany are playing shit. I thought they would finally play a bit better, but that's not going to happen. Quote
Smacktalks Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 This will probably jinx my bet, but i've gone for Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Nice one Still, Spain should've gotten a red card for that headbutt. Quote
Trips Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 I think it's pretty funny that Hanson, Shearer and O'Neill were saying that Germany have only one world class player in Ballack when clearly Schweinsteiger has been their player of the tournament. He's pure class, am I the only one who thinks this? Quote
Smacktalks Posted June 29, 2008 Author Posted June 29, 2008 Totally agree, Ballack had one good free-kick and that was pretty much it. Schweinsteiger on the other hand played class throughout the tournament, if it wasn't for him then Germany wouldn't have even made the final imo. Quote
Trips Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Lets hope United sign him, as the rumours are saying. Quote
Aero Posted June 29, 2008 Posted June 29, 2008 Nice one Still, Spain should've gotten a red card for that headbutt. near the end of the match? they both swung their heads in so they were both as bad as each other. VIVA ESPANIA!!!!!!!!! Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Schweinsteiger is indeed a very, very good player. But I think everyone on the German side is pretty good. Metzelder, Lehmann, Schweinsteiger, Ballack has his moments, Merteszacker,... Quote
Trips Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 Metzelder and Mertesacker were both awful, I hope your'e just saying that to name drop. They really were appauling. Quote
bigpoppn Posted June 30, 2008 Posted June 30, 2008 I was indeed just calling some names. However, if you'd follow them throughout the full football season, I'm sure they'd play much, much better. Quote
