Chillalex Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 (edited) ok in this thread post things you want and plan to buy in the future no cars plz we've all got penises. 3D Navigator http://shop.3dconnexion.co.uk/index.php?si...9690d5.02737733 This thing looks THE TITS. I am fed up of Max's retarded UI scheme and want something easy, not having to hammer keys every five seconds to rotate and then hammer again to edit. dont know if I want PE or Commercial, I think Ill need to get the commercial eventually but I wanna make sure its what I want first, hence PE. Crazybump Probably the only software I want to actually buy, ever. Fell in love with it after using the demo, saves so much time. Polycruncher Again, software, though I'm reluctant to get this given some negative reviews, but having just seen Eat3d use this to great effect, I'm pretty much sold. A 360 and GHIV Ok so I did want Rock Band but the price was a slap to the cock and then GHIV was exposed... bam. I'm saving a 360 as a reward/marking point for when I finally get a job in the games industry. Still a long way off, then. So whut about you? What objects have caught your eye and refuse to let go? Edit: I also desperately want HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL on DVD (1999 remake). I had it once, but let the disc go to fuckery, but would you believe you cannot buy it for love nor money? Neither, Return to House on Haunted Hill, though that one seems questionable. Anyone see the former film? It was awesome. I think. Edited June 7, 2008 by Chillalex Quote
CanaMatt Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 I've seen it! We have some ridiculously good pawn shops in the city here, I'll take a look, then send it to you for FREE if I find it. Despite the region difference you might still make use, yeah?! Quote
Smacktalks Posted June 7, 2008 Posted June 7, 2008 SpaceNavigator looks good, just been checking out some of the vidos on Youtube. I might give the Crazybump demo a go, the videos on that looked really good. Quote
Chillalex Posted June 7, 2008 Author Posted June 7, 2008 I've seen it! We have some ridiculously good pawn shops in the city here, I'll take a look, then send it to you for FREE if I find it. Despite the region difference you might still make use, yeah?! very kind offer but I'll save you time. I don't wish to sound ungrateful however, it was a very nice offer and one I feel inclined to swanton off a ladder in appreciation. I accidentally found the sequel last night, and the first film looks like it'll probably cost the same as your shipping costs if I got it off Play. Yeah Paul, crazybump is sweeet. I'm sure theres ways around it and you can get the same results from xNormal, Photoshop and the Nvidia plug in, but its the instant feedback and speed with which it does things that warrants it being awesome. So on a similar note, if crazybump gets your attention, try also; http://www.xnormal.net/ it has similar tools but is geared more towards baking and viewing. Quote
Jonny Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 I think that's just projected onto a translucent touchscreen. Not an actual hologram. Quote
MasterOfTheSwanton Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 Indeed it is, but it still looks pretty sweet. Quote
