ALL STAR Posted May 28, 2008 Posted May 28, 2008 Does anyone else think they should ditch the commentary from now on? Me and my mate went back and played some hctp and its so much better without the repetitive commentary, anyway if THQ cant do the commentary well whats the point in doing a half arsed job of it liked last years. When you think about it aswell the time it takes to record the commentary couldnt that time be better spent on developing other areas of the game? Quote
I Think Im Dumb Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 When I got SvR08 this year,I had the commentary on for the first few days of playing - Its nice to hear what the commentators say about the new charectors. But after awhile it really gets on my nerves, and I turned it off,I think there isnt a point of having comentary in the new SvR as its gets annoying, boring & repitive after a while, but its already been confirmed that there is commentary this year.I dont really mind to be honest,I can just turn it off. ALL STAR Posted May 30, 2008 Author Posted May 30, 2008 Yeah i thought of that and i thought JBL's was bad Quote
Sunny Posted May 31, 2008 Posted May 31, 2008 OMG...tsk, tsk. I didn't even think about that one. Dammit! I just wish he didn't make the cut...well that also means Jonathan Coachman might have have a chance to be in the game if the cut-off date was on WM XXIV and I want Mick Foley to be the commentator. Fuck it, might as well ditch the commentary if ECW isn't going to be an arena worth choosing in the game because of Mike Fuckin' Adamle. Quote
SamoanWay Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 Okay, Here's my Opinion of the Commentary of the Commentators. I still like the way they talk about of the superstars from all 3 brands. I know it gets boring since you know what they're going to say after like 3 weeks of playing. But I don't mind of the commentary's turning off/on. I still like IT. Quote
Smacktalks Posted June 19, 2008 Posted June 19, 2008 I agree, I still like to hear it at first, then if it gets repetitive I just switch it off. I just hope THQ redo the commentary instead of using the same old commentary again. As for Mike Adamle, I completley forgot that he might actual commentate in the game. Quote
bigpoppn Posted July 1, 2008 Posted July 1, 2008 Me and my friend play HCTP all the time, and indeed, it's a lot better without the commentary. They should put an option in the game where you can choose to put the commentary off, and replace it by some music or so. Quote
ALL STAR Posted July 1, 2008 Author Posted July 1, 2008 Well anyone else wondering what going to happen with it seeing as the commentary teams have switched over and superstars have changed brands. So there will be like cole saying, i wouldnt mind having him on the smackdown roster etc. Its going to be really dated. Quote
Sunny Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 Nah, I think these are gonna be the teams since the cut-off date was WM 24 or at least a week prolonged. SmackDown!: Michael Cole & Jonathon Coachman RAW: Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler ECW: Tazz and Joey Styles. I really am saying to myself, "Please don't let Mike Adamle ruin SvR 2009 since he made his debut on April 15, 2008. But, that might possibly change. Quote
Honkytonkman323 Posted July 20, 2008 Posted July 20, 2008 Jim Ross is now on Smackdown and Michael Cole is now on Raw.So they might swap places in SvR 2009. Quote
