Thom Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 As of tomorrow - and until June 1st - the 8gb iPhone will be retailing at Quote
Aero Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 better camera/video, faster, few other wee tweaks, i'd wait. Quote
Thom Posted April 15, 2008 Author Posted April 15, 2008 I'll be keeping my K850 for when I need a phone with a decent camera though... Quote
Aero Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 i'd still be tempted to wait, atleast until u hear some specs on it, could be ALOT better, mayb better battery, gps, erm... more customisation options.... a free helper monkey to make you tea, roll ur joints or wax your balls!?!?! Quote
Smacktalks Posted April 15, 2008 Posted April 15, 2008 The 3G version will be alot better imo, although it depends what features your mainly buying it for. If your not too fussed on the camera, etc. then the Quote
Thom Posted April 16, 2008 Author Posted April 16, 2008 Those offers tend te be on terrible phones like the Sony Ericsson W200i or the LG Chocolate though. I want one mainly for the web browser and becauce I can use it as an MP3 player. I won't be getting a shitty O2 contract though, I'll be using the iPod Pwnage Tool and jilbreaking it, and using my Orange Dolphin 35 sim, and ading unlimited browsing for Quote
Aero Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 orange where givin away fre sexboxes with any phone on Quote
Smacktalks Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 You can still get some decent phones, they've got the 8GB N95 which I got and a free PS3. It's good for web browsing and there's 8gb for music, which is why I choose it. The only downside is I would prefer the touch and scroll that the iPhone has. Quote
Aero Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 is ur n95 glitchy as hell and does it rape ur battery? if not ur 1 of the lucky ones. Quote
Smacktalks Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 The battery actually lasts me a full week. I'd heard about the battery problems before I got it, but I was under the impression that that was the original N95 and not the 8GB one. As for if it's glitchy, it occasionally freezes while loading web pages, but not very oftern. Quote
Aero Posted April 17, 2008 Posted April 17, 2008 are you in a 3g area? cos thats the battery killer. or do you just have 3g reception switched off? only way i can think you'd get a full week of use... also, do you never phone or text ppl? lmao. Quote
