Niles Jansen The Third Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I personally believe it depends on the environment you live in. I have seen a family of gay kids, but on the same note, I have also seen a family with 3 hard ass athletic kids, and one flaming faggot who was always afraid of looking 'disgusting' in front of other men. not sure how it all works out, but I refuse to believe it's something that happens at birth. Like I know a guy who acted totally normal, until he 'came out' and said he was gay. Ever since, he walks with an arch in his back and bent wrists. Sorta pisses me off. I brought it up to a couple of buddies and a girl near by was flipping out- like I mean crazy pissed off- that I would even assume they choose to be gay. SO I thought, rather then arguing with a woman about it, I would bring it to be discussed here. Any opinions, or personal stories? Quote
The Crow Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Well one of my best friends he gets really and I mean like he really gets uncomfortable when me and my other friends talk about girls or any kind of female species.I tried twice to talk to him if he really is gay but then he always comes up with some lame excuse every time like, I do like them but just not now, or I don't feel like talking about it.We have all told him to talk about and we have also told him that it won't change our friend ship and also that we would'nt make fun of him if he is.I mean it's his life and decision Quote
Elmnt254 Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I myself am Bisexual. I believe that its partially choice and partially some sort of subconcious thing in your brain...and your penis/vagina...it has to do with hormones. I have a friend who is gay and thinks that girls are icky...like wont even touch them...but then i have another who is like a girl himself and loves to be around them, but not in the romantic way...i mean...I dunno what causes it really...but. whatever. jitz Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 One thing can be certain here, this topic was gay the moment it was born. Really anybody that says girls are 'icky' even when talking about their friend, is a flaming homesexual. Does it really matter what makes people gay? I'm sure gay people aren't even sure. The only lesson to be learnt here is to always agree with your female friends, they're more likely to have sex with you if you do. Quote
Aero Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 and they are less likely to bitch and moan too. also, bisexuals are just greedy. pick team! hahahaha Quote

I was counting on a more intelligent conversation, and not Elmnt254 or others admitting to liking cock. Quote

Subrick Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 My gay friend told me that he came out after he had sex with a guy when he was homeless. So I personally believe that being gay/bisexual could result from one of these 2 things: 1. When they were born, their mind developed differently. 2. They had a sexual experience with a member of their sex and liked it. Quote
Big Bizang Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I'm of the belief that you are born gay/straight/bi and you come to realise it eventually. That's why everyone thinks it's normal to be straight because of the societies we live in that accept this as the norm. Eventually you have to reach the point where you feel comfortable coming out and living the way you want. I have a friend who had a terrible time coming out and was literally disgusted with himself for feeling the type of things he was feeling. That's so wrong, what is it that makes him feel like that? He's cool now and has turned into some bohemian art slob in Brighton but at least he's not FLAMING right guys!?!?!?!?! Seriously, it's ignorant to presume it's a choice. Quote
Trips Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I remember when someone who was "Bisexual" was simply called what they fucking are: An attention seeker. Quote

CanaMatt Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Sexuality is an interesting beast I think. I don't think you are born either way to be honest. Realistically I think we are actually all bisexual. And preference is just that, a preference. Its probably decided around puberty based on a number of things, mostly environment, and how you react to your environment, and the messages your brain uses to control your hormones and all that shit. I also believe it is somewhat possible to convert, but not at your own will, also based on environment and the such. Quote
Nemo Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 You know what's fucked up? Everybody gets so homophobic. People, we need to cut that shit out... 'cause everybody in this room got at least a gay cousin. Every last one of you got a gay cousin. You knew he was gay when y'all was kids. You was playing ball, he was jumping rope. He didn't turn gay, he was gay then. He just didn't have nobody to be gay with. Quote
Aero Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 i honestly didnt realise that was a chris rock quote until after i readededed it then looked up to see if u had referenced where u got it from (which u did) but i swear as i was reading it, by the end, my brain or whatever was reading it as if like chris rock... creepy. homosexuals are gay!
