ok, so, as some of u knoe (i.e. HB ) i was with a girl (kirsty) for over 3 years, lived together etc but it got stale, her family where mental n we drifted appart.

we split up, i was gutted but knew it was for the best, drank too much for a while, pulled a few girls to prove i could but was still hooked.

come end of january, i was ready to properly move on, a month ago i met a girl (roisin, aged 17... i'm 24) but we hit it off, feels good, she's excellent etc but now kirsty is sniffing round again. roisin is tryin to mark her teritory, which kirsty knows (nad said to me) and as such she is retaliating but not telling me she is interested in me.

im pretty over kirsty, but at the same time we split on good terms and she's a great friend, if it wasnt for her my dads death would have killed me. but there are strong feelings for roisin and i dont want kirsty to have been the reason for us spliting up.

i could easily go out and pull again 2mw, thats not the point, but what do i do? my options seem to be -

1. ignore kirsty n hope she goes away.

2. be a dick to kirsty n lose a friend.

3. let things continue and see how it pans out

4. try to explain to roisin why im giving kirsty leway n hope she doesnt fall out with me

5. give kirsty another chance.

i will also point out that kirsty intends to go to scotland next year to do her PGCE and become a teacher over there.

personally i'm close to telling kirsty to back off but like i said, she's been sch a good friend until the whole roisin thing.

I think you should do a combination of 3 and 4. YOu should let this girl Roisin know about what kirsty is doing and why you havent done anything about it yet. but also you should talk to kirsty about it, let her know about how you feel and hope it goes down ok.

Well, she's 17 correct? and where you live the legal drinking age is 18? Thats a factor people always seem to forget about, the girl turns 18, starts hitting up the bars, starts getting wasted, and if she's good looking enough usually finding a few people cooler than you, that she nwouldn't have expected. There's all the fish in the sea for sure, but before they start going to the bars they don't realize how many good fish are kicking right around. So just be wary of that.

I'm sure Roisin's very hot, and the attraction of seeing a 17 year old is obvious, but it sounds like your ex (sorry, I forgot her name and Im not scrolling all the way up on an iPhone...) has much more to offer in the long run.
