Russian Time Machine?

I seen this a few weeks ago and stumbled across it again today, so I figured i'd post it.

It sounds interesting, although i'd like to know just how this 'crazy Russian woman' or 'Scientist' figures it'll rip a whole in the Space/Time Continuum.

Apart from that, theres the whole "we dont know what'll happen" remark about hurling the particles at each other, sounds a bit risky. I'd be guessing at an explosion / the end of the world.

Figures The Russians would be the ones to end the world. Time travel shouldnt be possible, if it was it fuck up everything cause someone would change time. Also Russia Today and Tommorow Moscow, What kind of News channel name is that?

Ha! I love how they believe they can go to any time. Controlling the universe isn't easy. Also I think it's just kind of funny that if we were to travel back in time wouldn't we figure out someone from the future is here. Sure they can try and hide it but it only takes one idiot to screw it up.

I still believe the Back To The Future alternate timeline theory that we wouldn't just suddenly disappear, we'd carry on living or lives on an alternate timeline.

You mean we would still live but with different changes in our lives.Like if a relative died there would be a possibility of he/her not dying?

No, I mean you would carry on living your life as normal and not knowing anything was different, meanwhile there is a parrell timeline with the changes caused from someone going back in time and making changes running parrell to your own timelime but not intertwining.

ok this is lame

no time travel at all, its just that uber-machine they've built. Saw it a few months ago, and heard about what it's going to do... sounds interesting. I'm not too worried; if it was that dangerous, dont they think the countless engineers/scientists/technicians in on building it would have seen something yet?
