Subrick Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 So, No Country For Old Men winning Best Picture was not something I was expecting. I was thinking it was gonna be Michael Clayton or There Will Be Blood. I was actually upset that Ellen Page didn't win Best Actress. Juno was awesome, and should have won more than one award. Those were the only 2 awards I cared about last night, so who predicted who was gonna win last night? Quote
Fozy Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Juno is like, completely over-rated. Have you seen No Country for Old Men? It looks pretty fucking good. Quote
Aero Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 juno made me laugh at times, ur main actress chick was pretty funny, other than that, it was like 1 of those true movies only they put a bit of effort into it. decent, worth a watch, but hardly award winning. Quote
phil Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Juno was much more interesting than typical teen movies and was had a great formula to it, but you can only go so far with a teen romance comedy. NCFOM definately deserved the Best Picture, but Michael Clayton would've sufficed as well. Quote
CS Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 The Academy showed they are complete idiots when they awarded The Golden Compass "The Achievement in Visual Effects" over Transformers: The Movie, what fucking idiots. Quote
