Question - LA to San Diego By Car, How Long?

There is no joke or rant to accompany this topic, unfortunately. June 13th I'm escaping Australia's increasingly shitty weather for the sunny USA for two and a half weeks. It's all set in stone, my flights and hotels are booked, I'm quite excited.

Anyways, I want to go to SeaWorld. Now does anyone know if the Orlando SeaWorld is any good? I'm going to Orlando, but I'm willing to drive down to San Diego for LA to go to the San Diego one if it's a shitload better. If I did that, does anyone know how long it takes? It looks like it takes about 2 hours, but I don't know the cities, so it might be 2 hours from the edge of LA to the edcge of San Diego, and Sea World is on the other side, and it could take me 3 hours.

So yeah, If anyone knows it'd be appreciated. IF you don't know, could you ask someone that might? I'm pretty keen on an answer on this, as I don't want to go to the trouble of getting an international license, if the drive takes me 4 hours each way, and really isn't worth it.

Also does San Diego still have a Tyrannosaurus?

Also of note, I drive on the other side of a car, on the other side of a road, and use a different hand to change gears, yet I still only have to fill out a form that takes 24 hours to process, to drive a car over there. I'm going to cause a highway accident. Beware

Jitz, it's very rare you come across a geared car in Orlando by the way. In fact, I've been there dozens of times and never seen a geared car for rental.

Yeah I was on the Hertz site having a look at what they offer from LAX, and it seems manual cars are non existant in the good models. Shame really, I was looking forward to thrashing the shit out of it.
