I came about this documentry / film earlier, dunno if it's actually been released or not though. I thought it was pretty sad spending all your days/nights playing a game non-stop till your life starts falling apart, then it mentioned the part about the two people "falling in love" playing the game, even though they'd never met, which brought me to thinking that was me at one point.

I worked with a guy recently that was completely obsessed with Warcraft to the point that he gave up working to look for a new job and ended up spending 2 months solid of just playing Warcraft.

Anyone else ever met anyone this way? or been adicted to a game as much as those on the video that they have literally played it 24/7?

I guess I was addicted to SD!2 but I wouldn't say I devoted all my time to it.

Did you not see Wonderland on BBC last week? Exact same thing, following the breakdown of a marriage c/o second life (which is such a laughably bad game...)

I would say we were all a little addicted to SD2. I know I was. But I dont think any one was, to the level of warcraft players.
