The Don Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 I was over at my buddy's house and he had recorded a few episodes of Top Gear from BBC America. Needless to say I want to download some episodes but I have no idea what the good ones are. I watched the one where the three hosts came to America and drove from Florida to New Orleans but I just don't know what season/episode it is. So yeah, some help would be appreciated. Quote
Aero Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 most of them rock, seriously. they constantly do stupid things week in week out. you guys are getting an american version soon, our hosts turned down hosting it but are vetting the american hosts and want to have an annual uk Vs us challenge. ALL STAR Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Yeah every episode each week is worth watching Quote
Trips Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Don, get the Polar Exploration special. It's the best one they've ever done simply for the hilarious comedy coupled with the emotional trauma they end up going through. It's a gem. American Top Gear will last 1 season, your never going to find any presenters that even come close to Richard, James and Jeremy. Quote
Aero Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 aye, very true, it will be like when WE tried to remake that 70s show in the uk, god it was horrible. Quote
The Don Posted February 19, 2008 Author Posted February 19, 2008 I discovered last night this cable company has BBC America so I've got Top Gear set to record every time it airs. Only problem it's on Monday nights so I have to flip between Top Gear, RAW and High Stakes Poker... Quote
Subrick Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I've had BBC America and I always watch Top Gun. I just really want Rick Hammond to be on Brainiac again. Quote
Fozy Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 (edited) Okay first of all, it's Top Gear, stop being retarded. No one calls him Rick Hammond, Richard Hammond will do. Stop trying to fit in, seriously. Edited February 19, 2008 by Alta Quote
Aero Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 or hammy, or the hamster, but if u call him that now, we'll know ur just tryin to fit in. its like when ppl try to bluff their way through a star wars convo, only to say star trek and mean it. man i love that luke hanswalker, he rocks! him and that big dog fella erm.. suebarka? (hahaha like sue barker) i have to say, star trek is my fave films ever, garth vader is sooo cool. Quote
Chillalex Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 top gear is shite same format every week and its on every hour of the god given day through virgin media Imma fuck richard hammond up too, I was the only one who found it funny when he crashed (apart from Viz magazine.) And Jeremy Clarkson is a cunt. Always has been, always will be. It wasn't long ago he was globally regarded as such, but people seem to have forgotten. Quote
Thom Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 aye, very true, it will be like when WE tried to remake that 70s show in the uk, god it was horrible. Heartbeat? Quote
