Who the hell is Tim Boetsch?

Wow, I had no idea who this guy is and I still don't, but he was perhaps the biggest surprise of last night. When he came out I just want "Poor bastard is coming in to lose... he looks like my uncle." but wow. He just kinda came out of nowhere and the way he threw Heath was something to behold. So is this guy someone I've just never herd of who's really good or did he just kind of come out of no where and surprise everyone?

I've only heard of Tim once, and that was for the IFL 2007 Semifinals, in which he took on Vladimir Matyushenko. He was coming into that fight undefeated, but he took on a very tough opponent in Vlady. He went the distance and lost a decision.

But I did not expect him to come in and put on a clinic on David Heath. I'm not a fan of Heath at all. There's just something about him that I don't like. And Tim came out like a warrior and impressed me in his Octagon debut. I don't think he's going to be a huge star by any stretch of the imagination, but I do think he's entertaining. I can't wait to see him back inside the Octagon.
