Skull Candy Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Kinda rusty on car chops... Before: After: CnC please Quote
Chillalex Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 (edited) wheels are too intense for the photographs balance and are both at the same rotation which just smacks of photoshoppery I'm also not sure of whether those trims even fit in the wheel arch, given that they suggest the tire is on the outside of the white rim.. I dont know much about cars though so that might just be me. Windshield is blatantly just photoshop-drawn. Its a straight, 0 degree line which just wouldnt happen. Think of the curvature of the screen as well. Also the highlight painted on it is too soft - suggests the light is absorbed by the material and not reflected right back. The black paint decal is quite nice formally but its too blatant - its flat black! use a layer blending mode. Also remember theres no real colour as black so throw in a tiny amount of blue to that #000000 and it'll go much further to deceive eyes. Perspective on the grill is off, again, suspect 0 degree lines I'd also question what you were doing with the background - right now its about the same tonal value of the car so they drown each other for attention. The way you've extended the frame to the ground works though. edit: because im procrastinating like fuck heres the vanishing point you're gonna want to work off. Didnt do the other one as you shouldnt really need it. Edited January 25, 2008 by Chillalex Quote
Aero Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 im sure you put alot of effort into that, but it just seems off in sooo many ways, i'd only give it a 4/10, but listen to chillalex and fix ut up. Quote

Now looking at it....I agree with everything you said....It did take me a day to finish this but the problem was I rushed everything Because I had to go to bed Thanks for the rate Chillalex, that CC really helped me find some good hints for my next car chop and @ Aero: thanks for the CC Quote
FlashYorkHunt Posted January 26, 2008 Posted January 26, 2008 to me the brakes and the rims just seem like they are very fake comparied to the rest of the car 3/10 Quote
