I cant believe it i was so impressed with what he did as an actor with the Joker thought it was a really a new level in his career its a fucking shame.

im really gutted now this sunk in, i had high hopes for him as joker (still do) but really wanted him to then be in future batman movies, excluding BBM which i never intend to watch, i've always liked this guy, even in 10 things i hate about you... but thats for personal reasons best not explained in a topic about his death.

R.I.P heath.

What a shame, I've always been a big fan of his. This just sucks.

Damn. Wikipedia says that his housekeeper found him surrounded by pills.

R.I.P., Heath.

My friend told me about it earlier, supposidly there was a bunch of pills in the room.

Damn shame, RIP.

Yeah but Wikipedia's such a credible resource that if you edit the entry and say that he's come back to life, he actually would do.

Not good news, i was a fan of hes work in films, good actor. Shame :(

RIP Dude...

I can't believe this. He was on quite a meteoric rise in terms of his acting career and then he suddenly dies. I just can't even believe that this happened. God bless and R.I.P. Heath Ledger.

It really is a shame. :(

RIP Heath.

This is going to set back the release date of the Dark Knight isn't it? Bollocks.

Isn't weird how you think you know what someone is like just by the roles they play on the screen? Damn shame.

Posted

That's what happens when you ain't credible enough to attempt the Joker.

Is that the official coroner's report?

Posted

wow this sucks. I liked all of his movies(except BBM) and he was my sister's favorite actor.

R.I.P.

when i deleted mings replies, i figured that was him just being the usual dick he is. however, after browsing digg and nodq, ive come across a blog entry by warrior bashing heath and something about the westboro baptist church looking to protest at heath's funeral.

why all the hate? even if you didnt like him, that doesnt really justify speaking ill of the dead... or crashing their funerals...

does anyone know how he died yet?

Posted

Well, this most definantly sucks. He had so much going for him. I liked all his movies (even Brokeback Mountain, it's a good movie but it's gay), and at least Dark Night's gonna be his last movie.

Damn! I was shocked when I heard this on the news. His carrer was just rising and he was so fuckin' young. Why r their so many young people dying at this time period. I watched the trailer for "The Dark Knight," and I was pretty impressed. This is a damn shame. His short legacy won't be remembered by all, but I sure will.

R.I.P. Heath mate R.I.P.

Not to sound like an ass, but was Batman still in filming or in post production?

RIP

Ok I've dug and I've found. It's a little obscure but it's a real gem. Gents here's the intro to Heath Ledger's very first foray on the screen, lets all take a trip to a small island off the West Australian coast known as Circe Island. Yes, it's the intro to one of the greatest Australian tv series ever - Ship to Shore. Get that tune in your head and whistle it all day long!

As for Heath, what an idiot. Fucking moron. There I had the guts to say it. Any replies involving personal demons and the like need not apply, I have little care for it.

lol i'll agree, fuck the whole reasons for taking drugs shit, but he was still a decent actor and i've enjoyed the majority of his movies.

also, WOooooo childrens BBC, the good old days before CBBC.
