I'm too impatient for TV.

I love TV, who here dosen't? As I type this I have High Stakes Poker on right now. But lately I've noticed a decline in my television time. It'd not because I'm spend more time playing games or spending more time online, so I decided to take a look at why all I've been watching lately is Poker and Mythbusters.

Since I just picked up the first season on DVD this weekend, I'll start with Dirt. I loved this show when it started up last year, and it's not because I like Courtney Cox. If you haven't seen it yet, I'm sure FX will start showing re-runs next months since season two starts in March. It manages to keep an overarching story line going while also having episode specific stories. The only bad thing I can say about the show is that the first season eded with a cliff hanger, but I'm assuming the first episode in March will tie up the loose ends.

Speaking of cliffhangers, FUCK YOU SHOWTIME! Sleeper Cell is one of my favorite shows, and I don't even get Showtime. I downloaded and eventually bought the first season on DVD. Same thing for the second season. I made a point of staying up late every Sunday night because the episodes of the second season were on Bittorrent withen an hour or so of it ending. I have the burned copies in the folder by my bed and the DVDs on my shelf. I was hoping that season two would be the end of the series, just because streaching it to a second season wasn't too great of an idea to me, but it worked out well. I just want to know what the fuck happened to Darwin. Did Eliyah save him, did he die and leave Fariq to get away... Throw me a fucking bone here.

And what the fuck is taking so long on season three of The Venture Bros? If I remember correctly it's been confirmed season three and four will happen, and I've herd rumblings that season three is finished, hell supposedly it was going to start in December, but that's come and gone already. I watch two shows on Adult Swim, Boondocks and Venture Bros. I realize that shows on there tend to take awhile (I'm not sure why however) but it's getting to be a long wait. I've watched both seasons on DVD about as many times as I've watched Lord of War...

I've recently discovered Las Vegas and I'm playing catch-up. I got the first three seasons downloaded and I'm about half way through season two. There are new episodes and I tried watching one but three of the characters I like are gone and some of it dosen't make sense. Besides from what I've read it jumped the shark about halfway through season four. Oh well, I'll just download the episodes, that way I can watch at my own pace and not have to deal with commercials.

I seem to have a fetish for shit that will either never happen (season three of Sleeper Cell, Shenmue III, Duke Nukem Forever and so on.) Oh well... atleast RAW is on. That's been getting better lately, right?

The only good things on TV right now are RAW, Smackdown, ECW, Daily Show, Colbert Report, American Idol, and anything on ESPN.

It's gonna be the next big thing over here. I've already strangled two people to death for claiming "It's just a rip off of The Mighty Boosh"

i dont think it has much of a following here. seriously, i know two people who've actually heard of fotc....and you're one of them.

They feature heavily in rotation on Paramount Comedy over here, in stand-up shows. I saw them doing the Bowie song about 6 months ago and thought they seriously sucked hard. The series is probably the funniest thing since Extras though. I'm surprised it's not huge over there, being on HBO and all. Did you hear Season 2 is supposed to be out in March?

nope. all i heard was that they're doing a second season. and thanks to a quick google search, a premiere date still hasnt been announced. also, being on hbo doesnt really make a show hit. consider this, da ali g show ran on hbo for 2 seasons, yet no-one knew who borat was until the after the movie came out. fotc hasnt really caught on because it's a very different kind of humor and i dunno...most of us are too stupid for it i guess.

plus, theres no tits. cant forget that.

Well. There's only one show I'm really into right now and that's the celebrity apprentice.
