Things to change for this year

Ok to put it simply this game is totally messed up the more you play it the more you notice the faults. It the matches me and joe have done dunno how many things messed up.

Here a list of what they need to get rid or change for 09

24/7 just get rid of it, totally ruins the season mode and watching the same cutscene about 50 times with your guy walking down a hall way is just shit.

Reversals change the way they are done.

Fighting styles totally change these as they are so unbalanced submission guys can get someone to tap out on yellow, hardcore can regain health. And high fylers have a role? ever seen jeff hardy or nitro do rolls 20 plus times in a match :2

The fighting system is to old and dated. Also its way to easy to get someone on red.

Is it so much to ask for a table not to vanish.

Ok here is my ideas on how to improve the game.

Season mode starts off on the indie circuit where you use your caw to progress and get noticed by the wwe. Or start off in the WWE with someone like taker.

Also for season mode allow wwe superstars to tour the indie circuit or even start off there and work up.

Fighting system would be allot more fuild between moves and reversals would be reversed into other moves basically chain wrestling.

Also to stop move spamming the more you do the same move the easier it is to reverse.

Keep the fighting styles but change what some superstars can do like like if your a high flyer and harcore you can do the tripple jump moonsault like sabu. Also add alot more diversity to each style.

Allow any move to be done through a table. So if you fall of a ladder on to a table you go through it.

Get rid of the hud and momentum. Like fight night. So if your working on a leg it would slow them done takes them longer to climb the top rope.

For finishers have a different system like in wrestling there is a build up to a finish like a set of moves and the finisher can be done from the start.

But doing the finisher over and over wont cause much damage at all.

Creating a build up to the finish adds power to the move.

Allow for longer matches superstars can take more damage.

Adrenaline mode this is when your oppenent is building up alot of moves then you pull off one big move that can change the tide of the match. So if your HHH and your beaten up and say Orton runs at you and you do the spinbuster you would get a burst of adrenaline while allow for some health to recover.

Create arena so you can create past arens like Ecw and wcw ppvs.

Those are just a few of things i would change.

I like all of them, but is the CAA really possible? It goes from seats to ropes to turnbuckles to titantrons etc.

It would be pretty easy really like the titantron/ entrance could be made of section which you edit. There would be a default layout of seats etc. Then turnbuckles is just basically just change colour etc. There was something in WWF Attitude i think which you could do some of those things.

I never got to play that game, it would be sweet tho.

yeah, lets face it, at the time it worked well and, provided they updated it, adeded some extra features etc, all they need to do is ripoff the attitude CAA.

I wanna see the blood stain the mat and stay there.

Plus I also want the arenas to look like the arena they took place in, except the same generic seating arrangment. HCTP had that, and it was a PS2 game.

I agree with everything ALL STAR said. Now if they add all of his suggestions for the Wii version, it will almost universally make up for the shit pile known as SVR 2008 for the Wii.

i really miss the multiple attires for everyone and being able to change them like in No Mercy and Wrestlemania 2000 for the N64

I agree with everything ALL STAR has said especially the reversal system. Say ur Shelton Benjamin and ur opponent is Kurt Angle. Then, utilizing the aid of adrenaline u pull of a super kick, but Kurt also has his finisher stored and he reverses it into a surprising Ankle lock. Also, make the move reversal system as an interactive Matrix cut-scene similarly used in Spiderman 3. Lastly, I was praying to God they would have downloadable characters but sadly had my hopes diminished. I get tired as fuck creating the same damn people year after year. Would it kill them to have a "Blast From the Past" that include such people as Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Kevin Nash, Rikishi, etc. They're not actually legends, but people really want them in the game.

Yeah would be awesome having a spin off legends game which has legends from wcw ecw and wwf/wwe. But really one thing i dont get is the graphics in the game are good enough why dont they keep the graphics how they are and some of the wrestlers. But update the attires entrances etc and add to the roster cause really they basically took stone cold and the rock from 07 why not eddie or the rest of those legends :2

Posted

i agree, i dont see why they didnt put eddie in the game, that sucked, there were alot of people that they just copied over from svr 07, like matt hardy, stone cold, and the rock are just a few

I agree. I'd rather see The Rock with his 2004 look instead of his default 2000 look, maybe give Steve Austin his three different vests (Silver trim, Gold trim and Red trim), keep Eddie G., Tazz (with his ECW attire and his ECW ONS 2006 attire) Terrry Funk (WITH HIS WWE ENTRANCE MUSIC THIS TIME!) and Mr. Perfect in the game, make the Divas as optional managers only and have a stab Hornswoggle repeatedly minigame.

i agree with phil, but i dont think stabbing lil horny will make it, yet it would be funny

Yeah, because stabbing little ppl is so much fun.

My main problems with the game:

The Commentary (yes, it's definitly number one)-

I think with a better commentary system the game wold feel a thousand times better, and more realistic. My dream would be they do commentary on the actual match and not just random facts, or opinions on whoever is wrestling, and sometimes people who are not even in the arena.

For instance- if Triple H locks in a sleeper hold, I don't want to hear "I've been in this hold before, and it hurts alot less to give then to recieve", i want to hear "Oh, locks in the sleeper hold.... he's applying pressure" and while he's applied in the sleeper, then talk about facts about the wrestlers- and nothing about Micheal Cole being a faggot, please and thanks. We know he is, we don't need to hear JBL say it every match.

And as the match builds up, the commentary tone changes pace. At the begining, they are more fast paced and excited, and coming abit after the 5 minute mark, they stop mentioning facts and just talking about the holds and moves.

Now, I'm not saying to make it like JBI, where it sounded choppy because they were trying to make it all character specific. If they did it well, they would not have to say any names at all, much like they get away with pulling off in season mode.

CAW- Create A Wrestler

Everything.

It's honestly the worst it's ever been since PS1.

In SvR 06', the morphing looked so clean and realistic. Now, you really have to work out the unrealist edges, and definitions and such.

And you know those things before PPVs in season, where your guys is like doing moves to other people you'd be in a match with? I'd say allow that to be made as a titantron for your CAW.

That's all I can think of right now. Maybe later I'll think of more.
