RingMaster2001 Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Right all you crazy Paint Shop Pro experts and designers! We are running the ST Awards this year after almost 3 years of not having one. And we need help from you lot. We need 3 things. Firstly, a logo for the Smacktalks Awards; looking as snazzy as possible. Then we need an award itself, it being a signature or a self made award, whatever you have free reign, as long as it looks good and is relevant. Thirdly we need a little logo, like the Smacktalks Platinum logo underneath people's usernames for the award winners to receive. Remember, there are 2 awards designed for this forum, one being best signature and the other being best graphics artist, and if you do well in this, it will contribute to your standing on receiving the award. I even posted the horrible sig and gave up on it. Geez... And if you havent figured it out... I went looking for something to make a sig out of. Found this undertaker fan site. Nemo Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 since you're open to suggestions: on the st awards header image, the logo text looks fine, but the sizing and placement is off. you might want to size down the logo and try different locations for the awards text. chances are you'll find a better combination than what you got now. the problem (imo) with your icons is the same i had with mine (granted mine were pretty ugly to begin with): the subtext (right word?) is hard to read. try making it darker, or black. criticisms aside, both are very nice. good job, ts. Ill play around with the logo a bit and see what i can get. And your right, its hard getting the text readable at a low resolution. Ill give making it black a go.
