I got bored and decided to mess around in PSP for awhile. I was just trying to kill time and work on focal points. I had a good idea in my head and don't exactly know how I managed to fuck it up so bad. I might try and work with again, just looking for some ideas.

Make both the hands and the face match - correct the hue/saturation on both those things. PS CS2/3 has a match colour function that would be handy for this.

Move the hands over to the edges, crop about half of each hand. Itll give the head more space to breath and consequently draw the eye to it as theres more contrasting negative/positive space

And Id consider depth of field blurring but thats just me, think it might detract from what you were trying to do.

Theres obviously alot more you could do and some of it dont rely on what Im spittin there. I know you wont bother moving on with this, but the advice is there to remember for next times. word.

It was the first time I even loaded up PSP in (6?) months. I might go back in and fuck around with it some night. I do like the idea of having those angles, maybe next time I'll try and do something like that for a border.
