CanaMatt Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I just got a thing in the mail telling me I MUST attend a trial, and sit on the jury. I am to prepare myself for a multi day trial, that means no contact with the outside world, and an armed escort guarding my hotel room door so nobody can come in, and I cannot get out... sounds interesting, but it may be boring... anyone ever had this experience?? jitz Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Just do what everyone else does Matt, make a decision based on the person's nationality. Hill is fucked in every country around the world, not only do the rest of the world dislike filthy Indians, but his homeland hates him for failing his Indian heritage by not getting into med school and not becoming a taxi driver. Guilty! Quote
The Don Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I'd suggest watching the Pauly Shore classic "Jury Duty" to prepare yourself for this very serious civil duty. Quote
Nemo Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 i just throw the letter away. fuck jury duty. Quote
The Don Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 6Q8MA3PGSh8 Five bucks if you do that. Quote
Nemo Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 id do it if blacks were still afraid of making eye-contact with whites. seriously, thats just begging to get shot. Quote
The Don Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I don't know... it's pretty ballsy to shoot a juror in a court room. Quote
Nemo Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 yeah, because they cant wait by your car or follow you home. Quote
Nemo Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 im not talking about the accused. im talking about the friends of the accused. Quote
Smacktalks Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I did it 2 years ago, it was pretty boring for the most part. I was called up for 2 weeks, but I only spent 1 week doing it as the trial I was on only lasted 2 days. The other half of the time was spent in an open room watching tv, reading magazines, etc. The trial was pretty funny, it volved a burgalry, a man with no shoes and a pair of socks on his hands hiding in a nearby garden.. Apparently he went to get his pregnant girlfriend some paracetamol from a 24 hour chemist at 3am in the morning. Guilty as charged! Quote
bigpoppn Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I'd go with Don's idea. Ten bucks if you'd do that. Quote
Legendeath Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 I'd go with Don's idea. Ten bucks if you'd do that. 10 dollars? Honestly. If someone got that on youtube or something he'd be in the news. Quote
