SmackDown Rulez Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 (First of all this isn't COMPLETLEY about svr08 but i dont know what other forum topic to put this on so sorry) after seeing all the great smackdown games, (except svr07 which sucked real bad) next year, what do you think THQ should work more on and focus more on? If THQ is gonna make svr09 still on the PS2,they should work and focus on both graphics and gameplay but more on the graphics because gameplay is already great.they should make the graphics on svr09 look like svr06 sraphics because svr06 graphics were really realistic and i think the best graphics of all smackdown games. if they make it on xbox 360 or PS3,it doesnt really matter which one they work on because both graphics and gameplay of the xbox 360 and PS3 are awesome. PSP and DS have to work way more on graphics (like i said they should look like svr06's graphics, but i bet DS can't handle those kind of graphics lol) the gameplay on DS is like RPG games (for example the combat is you have to take turns fighting like final fantasy) but the gameplay is still a little fun.as for the PSP,the gameplay is fine but i liked how it could handle the svr06 graphics.so for the PSP,i hope the graphics don't look like svr07's because those graphics really suck) Quote
Nemo Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 i think its at the point where improving graphics is pointless. we have to ask ourselves how much man-detail do we really want to see? i for one, dont want to see a high definition 3d render of ric flairs wrinkly skin or big daddy v's moobs. it's gross and threatens my sexuality. gameplay is essential. add more matches, more areas backstage, better chain wrestling, make it possible to dodge the fucking 5 knuckle shuffle, cut the bullshit and make a good story mode instead of half-assing it every year. fuck the graphics. make the game fun first, then worry about homoerotic details. takersfan Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Im talking on behalf of the ps2 version. Graphics are the best it can get leave it. Gameplay improve it by not limiting movesets and taking away rampage and other bull. Quote
Aero Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 im 99% sure that 08 is gonna be the last PS2 version. also, the psp and ds are portable devices with limitations, dont expect decent graphics, pray for better gameplay... same applies to PS2 now, its always gonna look like shit compared to the ps3/360 so why improve. as such, its gameplay all the way. takersfan Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Not when it sold the most out of all the systems. Expect one more year or so depending on the sucess of next years. Quote
Aero Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 nah, after this christmas i can see alot of people pulling the plug on ps2. Quote
takersfan Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Dude the life span of ps1 came to mid 2006 ....... and ps2 is far superior to it Quote
Aero Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 but when did they stop making wwe games for the ps1? another reason they stop making games for older consoles is to FORCE people inot buying a new one. Quote
The Don Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Dude the life span of ps1 came to mid 2006 Are you fucked in the head? Latest game I can find is 2003. http://www.gamespot.com/games.html?type=ga...desc&page=0 Quote

Rohan Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 I'm sorry but did'nt 08 just come out? It's really annoying when I see people talking about the prequal of a game when we just got the sequel. Comon now whats the point its not like THQ is gonna come over to these boards and take your ideas. They might laugh though. Just enjoy the game that you have now and next year focus on the new one. i see people talking about SVR2010. I mean comon! We just got 08 and we are only on 08. I guess you people just have your dreams and like to expres them online. But i believe that except of going on about next years or 2 years laters game. Why don't we just focus on this one. So anyone know how to do Co-Op online? It says you can on the back of the box but I don't know how to do it with my friend at home. We have the 2 controllers but when we go online it doe'snt ask if you would want to have a guess play with you. Quote

Aero Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 i'm not saying everyone will pull the plug, but most will Quote
bigpoppn Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I might.. I'm sick of it, every game is now previewed in either 360 or PS3 perspective, when you get the PS2 version you notice the multiple mistakes there. It just sucks. I'm really hoping I can get an xBox 360 for Christmas. The shitty thing is I have to get an HDTV with it... Does it really need an HDTV? Quote
takersfan Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 No u can use it on normal tvs but hdtv is for full experience Quote
