Legendeath Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 (edited) So the holidays are coming up (Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza etc...) And we all have stuff we want for the holidays. So what do you want? Here's my list: It's pretty related to guitar and such but I got some few Video Games. 1. Fernandes FSK-101 This little pickup for a guitar can let a note ring forever. I wanted this thing since I saw Steve Vai in September. Here's a video of it in action. B2AJgAURuTg 2. Steve Vai Contour Wah-Wah Pedal. Just a standard Wah pedal. But has more functionality and is more comfortable to the foot. 3. Ibanez JEM 7VWH If in some way I make 2200 dollars I would love to get this. 4. Video Games. (Skate, GH3 Rock Band.) bigpoppn Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 You want to start drumming?Nice . I never tried it but I heard it wasn't easy in the beginning. But yeah, lessons help so much. And if you want to drum, you should search some guys to form a band imo. Quote

Subrick Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Oh, I forgot one more thing. If I get the drum lessons, then a kit to practise on. Particularly one with a double bass. Quote
Thom Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 - Uboat Watch. I'd like a watch to wear day-to-day, a classic design, something incognito. - Levi Red Tab Jeans The ones Paul posted a while ago, still haven't got round to buying them. - Lomography Cameras "Holga" with a colour-spin flash, and "Fisheye" 1 or 2. - Moleskin Notebook and Diary Good enough for Hemingway's musings, I guess they'll do for mine too. - Straight/Cutthroat Razor Gift Set Wet-shaving absolutely fascinates me, so I'm going to learn how. I want a nice razor that'll last the rest of my life, preferably in a nice gift box with a strop and badger-hair brush. Also Jean Paul Gaultier cologne. - Books Bonfire of the Vanities, American Psycho, and some of the "Vice guides..." I haven't got yet. - R4 Revolution for Nintendo DS So I can catch up with all of the games I've missed out on. - Home Brew Kit So I can brew my own special blend of hops and barley. And then drink it all in one night, lovely. Quote

Legendeath Posted November 23, 2007 Author Posted November 23, 2007 (edited) Hey can you stop being an asshole? This topic is about the holidays and gifts. Two things that are usually laid back and fun. Not about currency. Edited November 23, 2007 by Legendeath Quote
Aero Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 chirstmas isnt laid back and fun for everyone. some people hate it, they have to work harder, longer hours, spend a fortune on presents, some put themselves into debt, some get crap presents, and others have nobody making this time of year really miserable.... there is also higher suicide rates this time of year Quote

The Don Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Yeah, anyways back on topic. All I really asked for this year was Mass Effect, Forza 2 (sold my copy a while ago to pay bills) Superbad, Rounders, a few UFC DVDs and some stuff for my gecko. Oh and a 24 pack of Monster from Sam's Club. There's really not much else I want this year, maybe a book or two but I don't trust anyone but me buying my DVDs or clothes. Quote
Aero Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 i wouldnt mind a high def DVR/PVR with a decent size of HDD in it. Quote
Big Bizang Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I can't think of a single thing I want. All the DVDs and crap I usually think of seem immaterial and a waste of time this year. Family can get me anything they want, chances are I'll dig it. Some new clothes might be nice. Quote
takersfan Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 $ ps2 games that are god and a 360 elite so i can join the almighty smacktalks league ...everyone knows that the reason to buy svr08 anyways.duh Quote
Aero Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 well said... dont forget XBL gold, you'll want that too. also, im getting that steven tyler harmonica, my bro saw my post, ordered one.. then told me.. weirdo. he's also getting me a half decent harmonica to learn to play, but in return he may want me to play with his band for a few of their bluesy numbers. Quote
Subrick Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Be sure to post vids when you're in the band. That's what I'm gonna do when I get my band buisness settled. I'm looking for a lead guitarist (maybe another for certain songs), a bassist, and a good/decent drummer. I'm vocals. Quote
