crunk Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 This topic is a bit late, but is any of you fellas planning on doing it? Apparently you grow a mo to support prostate cancer or something... but for most of us its just a chance to have a laugh with your mates and look like a serial pest for a month. Quote
jitz Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 I've been asked so many times to do it, but I have a complete inability to grow facial hair. It's also not just to promote awareness of prostate cancer, it's a bit of a misconception that a lot of people have. It's to raise awareness of men's health problems in general. Statistics show men are far less aware of possible health issues facing them, and they also see medical practitioners far less reguarly. Prostate cancer is a focus of it though. Quote
crunk Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 (edited) Tis true... I haven't been to the docs for like nearly 2 years, and that's because I got a pinched nerve in my back that I couldn't really avoid. Generally with most things I've got the whole 'SHEEE'LLLLLL BE RIGHTTTTTTT' attitude. Haha yeah my facial hair is so patchy at best... It's gunna be interesting to see what creation grows.
