tokidoim Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Edited your post again, huh, TV's Joe Lauzon? Are ANY of the guitarists listed in the first post the ones that were there originally? And yeah, I said it. Jimmy Page is overrated. Not bad or worthless...people confuse eclectic with talented. He can play many genres, but wasn't that great in any of them. All guitarists can play many genres, but rarely do so because of the band and personal tastes. nosig Quote
RingMaster2001 Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 I'm not even starting that; all I can hope is that the majority disagree with you. Anyone listened to Yngwie Malmstein? Can I also give a nod to Matt Bellamy of Muse, who is probably the best guitarist to come out of the last 20 years. As well as B. B. King and Hank Marvin, without whom many of the guitarists would not be around today. Also, I don't know how I forgot Ritchie Blackmore of Rainbow and Deep Purple. Quote
