PS3 08 vs. PS2 08

has anyone gathered any knowledge on any new important features that will be in the PS3 and not the PS2 that may persuade me into buying the PS3?

ignoring the obvious graphics etc, the only thing im aware of is the first person view so far. buy the 360 one instead, most of us will be getting it and playing online!

sadly enough i don't have a 360 although i was thinking of getting one but i'm just kinda contemplating it cause once i get the 360 within a year or so won't they have like the next xbox system out on the market?

When this one is flogging the PS3 hands down and has games lined up for it for like 2 years, and they're only the ones we know of. No, no there wont be a new X Box for a number of years. We now know that Microsft like to rush generation cycles and it caught most people off guard. But they're winning the high def game race, they're not dumb enough to bring out a new one till this one stops selling.

they only rushed the 360 because the ps2 raped the xbox, they figured getting the headstart was the key, they where right, the 360 is raping the ps3 and it looks like it'll continue, 360 is going nowhere any time soon. if anything, we'll see the ps4 before the neXtBOX

Maybe not because it has manufacturing problems and is more likely to have problems compared to ps3 and ps3 blu ray might have something big instore for us in the future when it comes to a couple of games
