Well might as well make an effort now. If the ice caps were to melt then many species would go extinct. We could at least try to do something before our whole planet does through this cycle. Not only would more land be taken up by water but the land that's left would be even more populated.

there is still alot to be said about the boency (spelling check?) of these melting ice cubey things, i still believe this theory that whilst the tops are melting, the bottoms are being protected from the heat, freezing more, and will suddenly rise again one by one all thanks to good old gravity.

It's completely feasible that the planet will be able to overcome this so-called global warming in such a fashion that a brief ice age could follow, causing many species, including humanity, to become extinct. But in the grand scheme, is human existence really that important? I mean, what have we done for the earth?

If we all die at our own hands, I guess we just get what we deserve. Each individual must be considered guilty by association when the entire species has pissed off nature. When there's a bunch of roommates in an apartment and the rent goes unpaid, the landlord kicks everybody out.

Global warming is happening but done by us? partly, its happened many times before with the ice caps melting and the planet freezing etc...and I have quoted Legendeath, because thats exactly what will happen, the ice caps melt, more land is lost to the sea and then every land animal is squeezed together like sardines, so then what will happen will we start killing of the old and frail to replace them with the fit and healthy, I just want to know what would happen if there were to many humans that every last bit of land was occupied by us, what would happen? would the governments around the world order executions of all criminals so they can bulldoze the prisons to make way for homes you know desperate things like that.
