Too many people = global warming?

The population of the world is currently rising out of control, this is mostly due to modern medicine which has stopped widespread death from disease, its also due to modern farming methods which can now provide the food needed for so many hungry mouths.

The death rate is now much lower than the birth rate in many under-developed countries, this means the population must be rising, in many poor countries its rising very quickly. This creates big problems for those countries trying to cope with all those extra people, even providing basic health care and education (about contraception) is difficult, never mind finding them places to live and food to eat. If a population grows too fast it creates very sever difficulties. Unfortunately its a very difficult problem to solve and its getting rapidly worse.

As these poorer countries gradually become more industrialized and with rapidly growing populations, the demands on the limited resources of the earth are increasing rapidly, pollution levels are also increasing, as they burn wood and fossil fuels and deforestation is a rampant as ever to make more room for more people and their farming.

So the solution IMO is to limit the amount of offspring a family can have to just 1 if its a boy and to 2 if you have a girl first and if another female is born then thats it.

Yes but not by our hands it shouldn't, I believe in Japan or some far east country they have a limit to how many children you can have, I think it will become law to how many kids you can have in the future, I didn't ask you to do anything The Nature Boy, I started an intellectual discussion and if you cannot contribute to it then don't reply I would rather hear what others think on this topic not someone looking to turn yet another topic into and argument.

Back on topic, as you wish;

To be honest, it's not my or anybody elses decision to stop contrict the number of children a family has, they do what they want, it's been like this for years upon years. Japan has their own law, but we don't. It's an average of 2-3 kids a family anyway, whatever happens; the population will continue to grow.

If I want kids, I'll have them, if my kids want kids, they can have them.

Its true in what you say, but England is a small island and space will be at a minimum in 150 years or so, then what will happen? will they be shipped to another country that has room because England don't? what will happen if the world becomes to populated that there is no room, will we start to slaughter those who are old and sick, just so we can replace them with the young and healthy?

besides the fact, there should be no law restricting a persons free will to have kids. so what if more people have a lot of kids, theres plenty of people starting new lives in other countrys (spain and australia seem very popular recently), the main problem clogging us up are the imigrants. imo we should do as australia, and be very VERY harsh about prople moving in.

im not sure how it is in other countries, but overpopulation will never be an issue in america granted families dont have a lot of kids anymore since kids are fucking expensive. both my parents have 5 siblings, i have none. i have 3 cousins who are only childs, 2, 3 and 3 who are siblings.

my grandparents spawned 10 kids total. going the ratio 2(families):10(kids) or 1:5, my parents, aunts and uncles shouldve had a total of 50 kids but they only had 11, which is around 40 less than expected.

so yeah, in the long run, the population will continue to decrease as families have less and less kids.

and global warming is bullshit.

Heck they will probably be shitfaced drunk while having sex then months later the girl finds out she is pregnant. Not only that but some people don't care about having to pay for them. For some in other countries money is not even a problem. But for the people who aren't shitfaced drunk who are thinking about having kids should take into consideration of limiting their kids rather than having 5 kids.

it made perfect sense, however it doesnt disprove anything i said. it doesnt matter what the circumstances are be it intoxication, unprotected sex or not caring, people just dont have that many kids anymore. and lets not forget about abortion, which gets rid of the...i dunno..."unintentional" pregnancies.

if you still think im wrong, go count all the families you know that have 5 or more kids. not saying they dont exist, but they're a rare breed nowadays.

Over population will become a problem here. But not because the birthrate is high. We have a higher population than that of New Zealand, Australia and Canada put together. Shocking.

But it's nothing to do with people, I honestly don't think we can do anything to stop global warming. It is inevitable. Like it happened before and after the Ice Age. If another Ice Age happens, we'll need to learn to deal with it.

Solution to global warming?

Global warming itself is the solution. Why should we worry if all the shit we put in our atmosphere is trapping solar energy? The icecaps will melt, reducing the surface area of the earth until the amount of available land will no longer be able to produce enough crap to retain so much heat. Problem solved, with no action on the part of humanity. As a bonus...new beaches!
