Montel Vontavious Porter, also known as MVP, became SmackDown's gem acquisition on September 27, 2006, when General Manager Theodore Long and Porter came to a lucrative contract agreement. The press conference was shown exclusively on WWE.com.

Signing Porter was not easy. Despite the fact that he had yet to step in a SmackDown ring, MVP was hyped by his agents as "the most talented free agent in the game," and he was in high demand from organizations all over the sports-entertainment world. Despite Long's requests, MVP made it clear that he wasn't getting in the ring until a contract was signed, because as MVP's saying goes, "no contract, no contact."

Porter is flashy and cocky, but he has been able to prove himself in the ring, picking up victories over such Superstars as The Big Red Monster, Kane. However, GM Theodore Long rose to the ranks and handed Kane a match of pure decimation, the Inferno match. It is then when MVP's renowned cockiness was halted temporarily. However, that provisional immobilization infiltrated to new opportunities as he defeated Chris Benoit (undoubtly the greatest wrestler in the WWE hwo deserved a World Heavyweight Title push) at Judgment Day prior to the four matches they had before the event.

Awesome grahics. I wish hey have multiple attires on him such as the red one. I know the purple one will definitely won't be in. There is a possibility if they do attire downloadable content display. I wouldn't bet on that, fool.

Can't wait. I'm an MVP mark, I would've made him on last year's game but I've never found a decent enough CAW. Though I do wish they had given him the black or red attire.

Edit: I saw his entrance ..i cant believe no ballin'......im maaadd tht THQ hasnt fixed the announcer thing...(They say His Title before announce his weight and Location......)

yea i agree. .his ratin should be up there with hardy atleast.. lol.. but.. as far as his entrance goes.. its spot on.. didnt like the guy when he first came.. but he really is rubbin off on me.. hope'n for a little BALLLIINN elbow drop lol.. they re animated the overdrive.. a.k.a the playmaker.. his kick in the corner looks great.. i already see alot of potential in my CAW

strum thats a good thing it that momentum is harder to get because u dont see someone do a finisher after 1 diving move. The system should be like def jam vendetta with the momentum
