as a child my teeth where shit, i had to get 16 out when i was 5 and then my 4 adult molars when i was 9, htey just kept crumbling through no fault of my own or lack of care. i then got a 3rd set of molars which i still believe must actually be my wisdom teeth but the dentist claims not, plus they all came through pretty sharp after my molars came out, so i dunno. as such i've never had any problems with wisdom teeth.

that sucks :-/....my wisdom teeth were ready to come out also the only thing that really bothers me is when it bleeds right after the extraction i was awake when the pulled each side and the thing that bothered me too was the pulling and crunching of teeth

at about 2 years old i had 12 teeth removed due to having ribena from a sterile bottle (i think that was the reason anyway, i forget, but it was deffinetly something to do with ribena). i didnt have proper teeth till i was like 8 years old, but it does suck having so many removed at once

My girlfriend Nicole had hers taken out on Friday, I've been avoiding her ever since (successfully). Apparently it wasn't pretty and she's in a fait bit of pain still.

The idea of being awake while they hit and pull and extract teeth is a frightening one.

They don't put you asleep when they remove them?

yeah its not fun, I've had it done a few times on certain teeth, though I dont think they were wisdom teeth.

Nastiest is a root canal when you're awake.

He sculpts out all your roots from your teeth after having drilled inside, scrapes about - alot - with a needle, then digs a needle in and tells you - dear god dont bite down - while it rests in your mouth so he can xray the depth of the canal. Then he proceeds to stick filling substance - though not a filling - in your root canals.

Had that a few times, and both times the filling substance has fallen out and I've had to ply it out my own mouth with blood on it. NEEDLESS TO SAY, my dentist isnt very good at all.
