OULU, Finland - A Japanese man out-"played" challengers to win the Air Guitar World Championship for the second consecutive year at a contest in northern Finland.

Ochi Yosuke received the highest score from a panel of judges in the final late Friday at the Teatria rock club in Oulu, near the Arctic Circle.

Apart from the glory, he received a custom-made Flying Finn electric guitar worth $3,400.

The talent on display was variable at best. The surprise of the qualifying round was Oulu native Hilkka "Gore Kitty" Suvanto, who has twice before scored the lowest points ever in that round but now achieved a perfect six from many of the judges.

However, it was Ochi who impressed the judges the most in the final showdown, ahead of Guillaume "Moche Pitt" de Tonquedec, of France, and Austria's Max "Herr Jaquelin" Heller.

"It's great. We've seen all the nations, united nations, 'rocking on the free world' and that's good, that's great," de Tonquedec said.

One of the favorites for the title was American Andrew "William Ocean" Litz, whose act ends in a spectacular backflip onto an empty beer can. He finished 11th.

CJ, I know it's my fault, and I apoligize. But I've been having really bad times right now. My parents are divorcing, dad left, my mom is going crazy, and it's affecting my psychological point of view. The main reasons why 1/4 of my posts are spam is because A) I can't think of anything else to say, and B: I've been having mental issues. I have already seen a psychologist and I'm on medication. I've been having rough times right now.

Everyone of you people that have posted in here simply claiming Subrick posts spam have just done the exact same thing you accuse him of. You have nothing else worthwhile saying, you're simply making an off topic comment on how the poster spams a lot; well that's spam.

Yes Subrick has been posting a fair bit of shit, thing is, it's more likely to be seen as shit in the long run if it has zero replies. Instead in everyone, you guys flood it with hate posts making them some of the most popular topics on the board. If you don't like the person posting the topic, or the content, simply ignore it. They're more likely to stop posting topics if they are getting zero replies, and generating zero discussion for you.

So here's how it goes:

Subrick - You know your topics are pretty poor. By the way, lets not blame this on any medication, psychological pressure or any of that shit. We're a wrestling video game message board, we deal with unbalanced wrestling fanboys on a daily basis. Limit your topics to stuff that isn't shit (for example a topic saying how stupid air guitar championships are, when they're held in countries around the world with thousands of entrants, is stupid). If you have nothing interesting to say; go and play a video game, or watch a movie, or go and see some friends. You don't have to post on SmackTalks.

Everyone Else - Ignore shit. Send a message to an admin or a mod that you think a poster is spamming and they will look into it...if they're not shit themselves, which granted, on this board it's hard to find one that isn't.
