Last night..

Was the most bollox night I have had in a long time. It included: 6 (expensive) taxi rides, 12 bottles of untouched imported beer, dickhead bouncers and an overgrown ape obsessed with my friend. The story goes thusly..

My friend Hannah wanted me to come up to her house for a night in of beer, pizza and movies.. and her friend Joe.. So I got a taxi down to the nearest off licience (which is a good bit away) bought 4 bottles of tiger beer, 4 bottles of cobra beer and 4 bottles of wifebeater. Got a taxi back to my house then a taxi across town to Hannah's.

For the length of my stay there she hardly paid attention to me and was constantly flirting with Joe (even though he has a girlfriend). So I got bored as fuck being the loner, so I left to go to a nightclub, where my friend Katy was. So another taxi even further across town (frown newtown abbey to belfast city centre,) (only aero will know the distance.) I arrive at the nightclub, pay in, go to the bar to get a drink, then bump into a girl that I kind of got it on with a few months ago then completely ignored her.. She still seemed overjoyed to see me..

I eventually found Katy and all was good for a while. We danced, we drank, we had a good time. But that ape kept grinding against katy and kissing her. She was on ecstasy so I don't think she cared... The night contineud and he contineud to obsess over her. I swear, if he wasn't built like a mountain I would have shuryukend him.

So I began to get very bored, as once again I was more or less left the loner. So I got pissed off and went home, katy tried to make me stay but I was having none of it. So we kissed, hugged and said our goodbyes. So I went to call a taxi using the club's phone but the receptionist couldn't hear me because of then loud music. So I tried to walk outside, stretching the fuck out of the phone cable (lol) and a bouncer comes out from nowhere and yells at me and shoves me back inside. Cunt.

I decided to go outside and flag a taxi down. Eventually I got one and off home I was.

So at the end of the shitter of a night I spent

well I got off work at 11 pm, went and picked up the gf just to hang out for a bit, and we went down and met her brother at one of the nightclubs, just to chat for a few minutes, then she sprayed me in the eye with my pepper spray. On purpose. I crawled on the ground and cried, before taking her home. Then I got in an online argument about the KKK with somebody, then went and picked shaydene back up(this was hours later) and took her to work. it is now 6:34 am, I have to be back at work at 11am, which is an hour drive away. I am contemplating if I should go to bed at all.

It was my dad's 50th last night, went out for a fantastic meal with my family and dad's sisters and his brother-in-law surprised him by coming up from Cambridge to have dinner with us. He also announced he's been given a directorship at work. Came home and stayed up to stupid-o-clock drinking and discussing the pros and cons of Pink Floyd and The Who with an increasingly drunk father and uncle, a sure sign I was pissed because I know next to nothing about either of said bands.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Was playing halo on my computer until about 9pm and got a call from a bud saying I should go to this awesome bush party so I grabbed my 26 of Jack Daniels and jumped in the car and headed over. Don't remember much of the night after I got there except my buddy falling and smacking his head a back bumper.

I think it's just a common name for it. I've heard quite a few people call it "wifebeater".

Yeah it's nationwide. Everyone calls it wifebeater round here and even those godless heathens down south call it wifebeater, despite the fact that we practically invented wife-beating, or perfected it at least. It's practically a sport in Newcastle.

@Aero: I only saw the 1minute trailer of 300 and I wanted to see it, I quite like these Roman warrior sort of movies.I'm still thinking because it's like 5 euros.(it's not that much but I just haven't got the money so when I get my allowence I don't want to throw 5 euros at a shit movie.)

I don't know 300 seemed to be the ultimate example of style over substance to me. Wasn't that great. It was also totally camp and hammed up to the max but I guess that's part of its allure.
